This is the second to last stop, but the last viewpoint shuttle stop on Hermit's Rest road. Hermit's Rest (and its little concession window, and gift shop, and outpost) is the only thing left and while you do get some good views from there, this is really the last chance to get those amazing views before you head into a bit more foot traffic at Hermit's Rest. Accessible only by shuttle stop for most of the year (excluding winter) you can just hop on and off the shuttle, or you can walk the Rim Trail between shuttle stops. As the last viewpoint, Pima is the westernmost pullout and panorama point in the South Rim and gives you the best view of the canyon as it continues on downriver. And the river is really what strikes me here: you can see longer stretches of it to the west, as you finally get some perspective and the river's course lays into your line of sight. Seeing that mighty Colorado River as a dark or muddy streak in the distance really gives you some perspective on how incredibly far down it really is. There's not much of a (paved) walk her to get out to the point but the canyon has done a nice job of letting you out onto a jutted point so you can really get a nice 180-degree plus view.
