Stupendous. Wagyu was cooked perfectly, seared on the outside, deep red edge to edge on the inside. The mixed vegetables were grilled perfectly, each still having a crisp bite and by no means soggy or over cooked in any way. Great compliment. The quality of the food, its preparation, and the service as good as any restaurant in the world. Bravo. Highly recommend.

By far the best food in all of Krakow Poland. I may not really be able to say that as I was only in Krakow for 5 nights. I did try to go out and try many places while I was visiting. Some places were OK but this restaurant was by far 5 stars. I do not give 5 stars easily. Some would even call me stingy with my 5 star reviews. I feel it takes everything being perfect for a 5 star review. And let's face it in a real world it is not likely that everything is perfect. While I was visiting Krakow I was referred to this restaurant by many people. I saved this for my last night. It was a great choice as for my last super in Krakow it is the best food memory I have in along time. When I waled in I was greeted by a beautiful polite man. I was seated and given a menu and wine list. I started my meal with the Calamari Steak. It was phenomenal. I have never tried calamari like this and I am happy I did. It was the best. I followed my appetizer with a 200g Kobe Beef Tenderloin Steak that melted in my mouth. I cannot say how tender and perfectly cooked this piece of meat was. Needless to say this was the best steak I have ever had in my life. I matched my steak with a nice Remy Martin XO. At the end of my meal they gave me a berry liquor desert - yummy... Best service and best steak in Krakow in my opinion. This is a must try!

This is my top steak restaurant. I love the meat here a good selection and always cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and will discuss certain cuts with you. I normally go for w side order of cherry tomatoes and Salad. The wine is also very good and enjoyed a bottle of chianti. If you have a special guest and want to impress then this is the place to do it. I have never had a bad meal here. I will certainly be going again.

White table cloths, very good service and delicious food. The steaks are to die for, and the seafood I had as a starter was deliciously prepared as well. Highly recommended!

Best steakhouse in Kraków. Better than Ed Red in terms of consistency: they won't serve you a subpar steak here. If you buy a streak, it's going to be good. Even the cheapest option here is superb. Aside from the quality of the beef though, everything else is mediocre. I ordered a couple oysters today and didn't think they were fit to be served to customers. I wasn't overly impressed by our appetizers either given their high prices. Their steaks are really the only thing I would recommend.

This place is without a doubt the best steakhouse I've had so far. I was craving for steaks and read really good reviews for this restaurant, decided to give it a try since it was very close to where I stayed (Hotel Pod Roza) anyway. We came during prime dinner time and we got lucky enough to get seated at a table without a reservation. That being said, this place was busy! So definitely book a reservation if you want to come, I think we just got lucky that day. I ordered the New York strip with buttered spinach and baked sweet potato. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The steak was not overly salty, it's got just the right amount of smokiness to it. Great texure, not chewy at all, just melts in your mouth. The sides were cooked perfectly, I literally have nothing to add. We also ordered a fruit salad, which was extremely fresh and also refreshing to counterbalance the heaviness of the main entree. Server was very busy attending another large party, but still made sure to check in on us once in a while. Gosh if I ever come back to Krakow, I'm definitely paying this place another visit. Of note, there is the Little Market Square that is extremely close to this restaurant. Definitely also worth a visit if you happen to come here for a meal. read more

After our tour running late we decided not to go back to Airbnb and go out for dinner dressed as we had been for the day. After googling and seeing positive recommendations for this restaurant we decided to spend one of our three nights in Krakow dining at Pimiento... what a mistake On arrival the manager looked us up and down head to toe and told us he only had space in the garden, we accepted the table to receive the worst service I have received in a restaurant of this standard. The waiters were rude start to finish, we topped up our own wine whilst watching others around us being topped up, not one person asked if we enjoyed our meal or if our meat was cooked to our liking (which it wasn't) whilst they asked most other tables. We waited 25 mins after finishing our main course before anyone asked if we would like dessert or our bill, I had to call the waiter out. The main waiter in the garden didn't serve us but served every other table. Absolutely appalled by the service at this restaurant, I'm well travelled and eat in good restaurants and I've never paid good money for a meal and received such terrible service. Safe to say I won't be back I'd also like to clarify that as much as we were smart casual we were in no way dressed in such a manner to receive this level of service... disgusting. I definitely would not recommend dining at this restaurant. I asked to speak to a manager and then response I received was "well how much do you want to pay?" I asked if I could at least have an apology and he told me my experience and his experience is different despite the fact he wasn't there to witness any of it. Shocked! read more
Outstanding food and service and Pimiento. We sat outside and the decor and landscaping was beautiful. The Malbec we selected was also excellent. The meal started with empanadas which were baked and delicious. The dough was flaky and had the right amount of hold for the meat inside. The beef was well seasoned and very good. Now the star of the meal was the steak. We selected the parrillada which was the filet, ribeye, and sirloin. The temperature was perfect and came out with a wonderful presentation. Grilled vegetables and French fries were the side dishes. Lastly, the desert was incredible. Light and creamy. Our server was excellent and was very attentive to our wine and water needs. Overall this was a wonderful meal and a great experience. If you are looking for a great meal, I highly recommend you give Pimiento a try. read more

Our evening started with a table for 2 near the entrance. After ordering the waiter Boris brought us a special treat from the chef. It was like a half of an empanada with a seasoned beef inside. Delicious and an unexpected treat. Tammy the tornado ordered the chili verde soup with filet medallions and truffle potatoes. I, like the animal I am ordered the burger with fries. I can tell by the high quality of the first food brought out that we were in for quite a treat. Boris seemed like the perfect waiter with knowledge of everything on the menu and the fluent English speaking needed for the American customers we were. The bread he brought out rivaled any great sourdough we've had in San Francisco. The chili verde soup was piping hot and perfectly seasoned with sour cream and guacamole on the side to add in. The tornado mixed it in which made it the best soup I've ever tasted!!! In case my woman Tammy reads this one day I'd like to tell her she was the best thing in the world to me! read more
I am not a professional chef, but I do trade steak tips with the top steakhouses in Texas. I have cooked and consumed hundreds of steaks using grills, broilers, sous vide, etc. I know good steak when I eat it, and what I had tonight in this restaurant was NOT good steak. I'll start with just a general service review. Poor. It was like 10 minutes before we were contacted by the waiter. When I ordered a 110 PLN wine he didn't miss a beat in telling me that the 185 PLN wine was better and what he recommended. Just such a blatant and shameless upsell. We hadn't even ordered food yet so it wasn't a paying thing; just recommending us to a more expensive bottle. But the company was paying and I'm sure he knew it so why not. It did end up being delicious but we didn't need to spend extra for it. Then the food. My coworker had the calamari which they did not cut, but he said it was GREAT. I ordered tuna ceviche but they were out, so I got grilled vegetables as a side. They were fine. Now, the steaks. Oh the freaking steaks. I asked him which one is best and of course he pointed to the most expensive one that wasn't wagyu or kobe (which you should never trust anyone outside of a world class establishment to cook properly). So I got it and ordered it medium. It came out maybe medium rare at most, but fine. However, it was the most flavorless steak I have had in a long time, period, even more so than cheap steaks I buy and sear at home with minimal prep when I'm in a hurry and don't have time for sous vide. I believe they did not use any salt before cooking, or they salted it but then cooked it before the moisture it pulled out got absorbed thus burning it all of. Anyway, flavorless steak that was not as tender as a property salted steak should be. My corner ordered medium rare and it came out blood red. He sent it back and asked to have it a little more cooked and it came back still rare. I have never seen a steakhouse this clueless about temperatures. It's called buy a meat thermometer! If a customer is sending it back in the first place don't screw it up again by using the thumb technique or whatever it is these guys did! The desserts were phenomenal. We had the chocolate orange balls and the tiramisu. Very good. But intimately it's a steakhouse that did a terrible job on two steaks. I know I can't hold them to Nick and Sam's standards but this was just a disappointment. Try Moo Moo and you may have better luck, or maybe be explicit with these guys about how to cook the steak. Shouldn't have to teach them how to do it but whatever... Good luck! read more

Easily a five star meal. We intended to go to the Kazimierz location but it was closed for renovation (Jan 2020). We walked to the Old Town restaurant in about 10 mins. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately. The restaurant is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. We ordered fish soup, chorizo, two beers, a bottle of red wine (went for the second cheapest...always my strategy!), two rib-eye (we went for larger than listed on the menu), garlic butter, bernaise sauce, two portions of fries, mushrooms, one chocolate cake and two Irish coffees. We really went for it! All of that and the bill was 670PZL...that works out at about UK£130.00. Great value for the standard and quality. All was fantastic but a few standouts; the fish soup was as good as I've had anywhere and the steaks were superb. One was medium and one medium-rare and they got it just right. Highly recommended. read more

Pimiento has become one of my fav restaurants in Krakow. The Pimiento restaurant started of in Kazimierz and this restaurant was started few years ago as its bigger counterpart. I like the restaurant as it has all i would expect, great food, wine atmosphere and service. All food is well prepared and the meat, bife de lomo dishes are best i have had in Krakow sofar. Pimiento also has a selection of great South American wines and theseare reasonably priced, The Kaiken wines are the ones i like best. Also a range of nice deserts. The restaurant itself has a cosy atmosphere and in the winter i enjoy sitting in the neighbourhood of the fireplace, In summer when the weather is fine there is a garden to sit en enjoy the dinner. The service is great and im allways welcomed and offered a table for two allthough i am on my own, haha. Table for two, yes for me and the bottle of wine. Pricing wise i have to say it is more expensive than avarage in Krakow but imo worth all of it. So if one would not only want to go for traditional Polish food this is a great place to go. read more

Pimiento was a fantastic experience. The food was fresh and amazing, the service (thank you, Edith) was professional and friendly, and the outdoor seating afforded us a terrific view of the evening promenade of locals and tourists. read more

I'd probably give this place 4.5 stars if that were an option, taking half a star away for the waiter who scoffed at the idea that my colleagues and I could take down 600g of steak. Ridiculous. Beyond that, the steaks were great. We had steak a few days later at a different restaurant, and while good, it didn't have the same flavor as our steaks at Pimiento, which was fantastic. We had the tomahawk, the ribe eye and all of us were very happy. We paired it with a nice Malbec for a great meal. I'll def make Pimiento a stop on my next trip to Krakow. read more

I really don't want to sound like a brat. I just wish they served the side dish on the actual plate with the rest of the food you ordered and that the waitress would actually ask the chef if a minor change could be made to one of the salads before saying "NO". I have had way better experiences at the Pimiento branch on Ul. Jozefa in Kazimierz. Go there instead and expect nothing but greatness! read more

Dined here last night and the food and service was great. So great i decided to go back tonight. Tonight i was turned away like a peasant. Treated pretty poorly if i might say so. Greeted with a very condescending can I help you. There were quite a few open tables. Manager told me they were holding them and I could try again Sunday night, i would have been in and out in less than thirty minutes like i was the night before, Planned on bringing the office team here later in the week but don't think it's in my best interest. Great food (steaks are tiny) but service is a lottery. Not recommended. read more
Loved this place! FIrst found it by accident in Kazmirez and we were pleasantly surprised. I had a squid steak and it was amazing and my bf had a perfectly prepared steak. Then we came across the second location in the city center (Stare Miesto) and found a very tranquil courtyard in the back. It was so beautiful and quiet although it was in the middle of the city. A great option also for non-meat eaters like me. The service was friendly and professional. The prices were absolutely fair. Go check it out! read more

Tried it for the first time the steak and ribs were outstanding. Prices for the most part were reasonable. Be careful when you order appetizers they might be different than what your used to from another country. I ordered a chorizo appetizer and it was served raw. To there credit they cooked it hot as I requested and it was very good. read more

Great service and food. The meat was tasty and cooked as expected. We took Argentinian wines that were affordable and nice. Atmosphere is very nice. In winter try to get the table next to the open fire. read more

Najlepsze steki w Krakowie. Nie mają konkurencji. Miła obsługa. Jedyny minus to ceny. Prawdopodobnie to jedna z najdroższych restauracji w Krakowie. Drogo, ale jak jest okazja to warto :) read more
