I went here with my mom because my sister was told to come here for her birthday piñata. The sister wanted a Miss Piggy piñata and even though they didn't have it we were recommended to pick the piñata we wanted and they will print up a picture of Miss Piggy and put it on the piñata. My mom made sure to bring the picture she wanted so they have a copy of it. I read from other yelp reviews that they can make any piñata requested and to bring a picture. I asked if they could make a gun piñata for my boyfriend and they said yes, they can basically make anything. They showed us pictures of previous piñatas and they included 6 foot cartoon characters and a Captain Jack Sparrow. My mind wandered with what they could make. Just bring a picture and they'll make it. There are other party necessities such as plates, banners, candy, etc. The price is reasonable and I'd recommend getting candy there to fill the pinata because I went to the 99 cent store looking for candy and it wasn't enough to fill the pinata and the quality was not good. read more

The piñatas here are strong! Each kid got about three turns before the piñata finally broke. Prices are very resonable I'd come here over driving to downtown any day. We also rented an awesome jumper with a slide for a great rate that made our party a hit. read more

I called Pinata world before going because I was interested in buying 2 piñatas. I forgot to ask for a price over the phone, but i had received a text from Pinata world telling me the directions on how to get there. I asked specifically for a #8 Pinata and a star piñata that has the bouncy balls. I then decided to go there Bc the prices were fair. When i get there, i was told the same price for the #8 piñata but i was told a different price for the second piñata. I explained how I was told a price via text and i still had the message, and I showed it to them. They did not honor their "'mistake" or want to meet me in the middle. What terrible customer service. If I were a business owner I would acknowledge that I made the mistake and honor the price to keep my customers happy and to come back. I decided to take my money elsewhere and I just walked out without purchasing anything. Beware of price gouging or them ripping you off! read more

Our first experience with Pinata World was last fall when my boyfriend proposed with a custom made pinata of himself--IT WAS PERFECT, and Blanca nailed the detail even to the mole on his face. The pinata was a hit and we ended up getting a custom made pinata of myself so we could display them during our ceremony as well as a traditional star pinata for the festivities. Our guests raved about them. The service is spectacular and our pinatas were made in a timely manner and are of high quality. Prices are very reasonable and there is a large variety of pinatas to choose from. We found our "go-to" pinata place for all future events and could not be happier with their pinatas. The piñata & cake table decoration we ordered turned out cute. However, they messed up our order & we ended up having to pay extra for something we already thought was paid for. They were also not very sturdy. A small 6 year old broke the piñata fairly easily & a piece of my centerpiece broke off with a small wind. I won't be ordering from here again. Only gave 3 stars because of being able to custom order stuff. read more

I called the day before (Monday) to inquire about a piñata and was told I had to come in person and have a deposit. I completely understood and planned my schedule to come in the following day. But unfortunately , I drove all the way to El Monte to find out that they are not open @ 11:45am. The employee I spoke to the day before told me they were open at 10:30am. I thought I might have misunderstood and checked online and called the store. To surprise,they didn't answer and their businesses voicemail clearly stated they are open at 10:30am. There was no sign on the door that indicated why they were not open during business hours. I wanted to bring business to this location and was planning on purchasing a custom piñata and 3-4 pre-made piñatas. Sadly, they lacked communication and lost a customer. The piñatas I was going to purchase were sentimental to me and sadly failed to deliver basic customer service. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Ordered a treasure chest piñata from here two weeks ago need it for the 13 of sept the guy tells us no problem it will be ready. Called on Thursday piñata still not ready call Friday and piñata still not ready smh really guys come on down the street world of Piñatas guarantees your piñata done in a week.! Very disappointed. They promised to be able to do anything I provided pictures an gave them more than enough time to complete 2 custom piñatas. One of them is sloppy and messy and when ask why they said it was glue. The second one did not look anything like what they said they could do. If they would have been straight forward from the beginning and said they couldn't do what I ask for I would have respected them more. read more

The pinatas are gorgeous and very reasonably priced. I got a frozen pinata for under $20. However, like other reviews, there is a rude man that just sits at the front counter. I also inquired about table And chair delivery for a location only 7 miles away from the store. He said No that was too far and refused the order. I couldn't believe he refused my business. Sorry but this is for the service. I called to get a quote over the phone for table, chair and a canopy rental for my sister's baby shower coming up in June. I spoke to this guy memo who gave me a price. At first the shower was supposed to be in El Monte and then it got changed to a different location. Anyhow I called and spoke to Blanca and she said it didn't matter that the location of the event changed, they would just have to charge 15-20 bucks for delivery and pickup. That sounded great to me. So basically the price that was quoted to us and then an additional fee fof 15-20 for pickup and delivery. NOt bad..Anyways we called back to try to arrange everything and memo said that the price had gone up, plus no one wants to deliver. WTH don't you want our business? No one wants to deliver? So we called back and spoke to blanca and she said that the price would be 20 dollars on top of what we were quoted not including delivery and pickup..SO we were very disappointed in the customer service. That memo guy knew what he quoted and then Blanca agreed and then they both switched the price and I guess it didn't matter to them that they told us one thing and are now saying another. I guess they didn't want our business or no one wanted to deliver? Keep in mind this is 70 chairs, 7 tables and a 20x30 canopy we were ready to rent.. Good news..is we found another place with better service for about the same price..At this point we were willing to pay more for better service and for a business that would appreciate our business! read more

Good costumer service. Worth our drive from Pasadena for what turned out to be a $12 piñata- wow what a deal! As mentioned on the phone they changed another star piñata into a transformer piñata with a quick change job to an existing piñata with another image. They did not have an Optimus Prime image despite looking, but my son was happy with Bumble Bee on both sides. Today when we broke it open (with a real baseball bat as was recommended by the store staff) it was great fun. Candy fell out in bits and pieces after every few hits so it lasted a long time with lots of suspense for the kids. It was made in a really neat way to have this effect. The store showed us a huge baseball piñata they had custom made in the back of the store- too big to get through the door. If you leave enough time they can make whatever you want. Very pleased with our experience with Piñata World if you time to drive down there. read more

Splendid! My wife and I were desperately searching up and down for a number three pinata for my precious son. I've recently heard of 'World of Pinatas', so of course I thought,they might have one in stock. Sadly I walked away empty handed. 'Pinata World' was my last hope since my boy's party was in a couple hours. I stood there waiting for the cashier to notice my presence then after a few seconds I broke the silence and asked for assistance,the black haired woman apologized even though there was no need, she looked busy as it is on Easter. They did have one but it was in pink and white. To my surprise they offered to change the colors and even add little details to it to personalize it. It came out to $20 in total. The staff was extremely kind and approachable,this is what every company is lacking! Great quality pinatas,an understanding and kind head of the shop,kind cashier,and amazing prices! Definitely coming back to this fine establishment,except this time I'm checking Pinata World first. read more
