At booking she assigned me a room number and a door code. We didn't arrive until late, about 10pm. So we let ourselves in and got settled. We were happy to find a very clean room with all the amenities you could want. A varied assortment of teas and coffee. A comfortable bed. A tv equipped with Roku for all of your streaming needs. WiFi access. A hot shower (after you gave it a few minutes to warm up). All of the fluffy towels you would need (1 floor mat, 4 bath, 4-5 hand towels, 4-5 wash cloths). Also had divine smelling amenities (2 shampoo, 2 conditioner, 2 body wash, 1 hand soap bar, and 1 skincare bar). It was a super cozy room, and I would happily stay/ vacation here again. I can't recommend these accommodations enough. We paid $142.84 and it was well worth it.

We just spent 4 days here. We rented a pontoon for the day for $120 plus gas. We stayed in cabin #4. It had air conditioning, stove, refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Everything is in good working condition and clean! It is not a 4 star hotel but we were not expecting that. Each cabin has a gas grill and fire pit. You can buy firewood, ice and bait. The resort is on Lake Wabedo, which is a good sized lake. We saw eagles, deer and loons. We loved hearing the loons call each other . Maggie and Jerry were excellent hosts and take very good care of you.

As far as campsites go I thought Crosslake was pretty good. They have a beach with a swimming area,…read moresites both with and without electricity, stalled bathrooms with showers, evening activities and enforced quiet hours. They ask that you purchase their "certified" firewood for $6 a bundle and the woodshed is only open from 6pm-8pm so make sure you get there before they close and buy enough to last. The sites that are on the edge of camp are really tough to sleep at because they are right next to the main road so all night you hear cars speeding by. But it was a fairly quiet campground during the day and even with neighbors you have privacy and peace. I also wish there was an area with softer ground for tents. It was very difficult to pitch in the gravel because they stakes didn't want to go in and there were lots of sharp rocks trying to poke up through the bottom of the tent. Everything in town is within walking distance and there are trails everywhere. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. I was surprised by how few mosquitoes there were and wonder if the campground sprays for them. I really think my son would have a good time here so I want to bring him and update my review based on his experience too. But I would come back because we had a good time!

Boat Rental Review at Sundance: the boat we rented was great! Very good condition, was easy to book…read moreand get the keys/return. Minor work involved, just fill back up with gas (station right across the lake at the Wharf bar/restaurant) and take trash out. I was billed $177 after though for the prop and they said it was from scratches and paint chipping. He said most people are getting billed for this. Coming from someone who has boated their full life, this is frustrating that they bill each person for cosmetic damage that no one can see (picture sent too and prop was in perfectly good condition). Props can run just fine with some scratches and paint chipped. It is normal to happen especially if going through sand bars. I give them credit that they take care of their stuff but this was an excessive payment to make after spending $1,000 on the rental. I will gladly pay a fee for damage to a prop that is going to impact the smoothness of the ride, but this was excessive and unfortunately I won't rent again from them. If you choose to rent, know that you will likely be charged extra for this.
