Plants are always of excellent quality (which sometime you pay for), and are arranged in an way that is intuitive to navigate by type or planting aspect as appropriate. The staff are knowledgeable, accommodating and have always been a pleasure to interact with in my experience, that of my family and our small dog who has received the most enthusiastic welcome. The trees, from what I can see, are of a good quality and the tree I take home lasts the entire Christmas period easily and they never drop too many needles, which is a positive. The staff are always helpful and patient whilst you move trees to see if they are tall enough, bushy enough or sparse enough (depending on your ideal looking Christmas tree) When you are checking looking for your tree they are all out in height and species areas. They stock all the usual suspects, Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, Noble Fir and the Fraser Fir. Along with the obvious selling of trees they also have for purchase, tree stands, wreaths (the Christmas type!!), mistletoe and tree lights. You can also pay by debit/credit card but be warned they do charge you £0.50 for the privilege. Lastly just remember that parking will always be tight as the car park is small and every year I have been very busy.

However not realizing I gave the wrong address for my friend, I also did not realize that the florist was over 2 1/2 hours away from my friend who lived in seven Oaks. Delivery was made to the wrong address, but that was on me, but this florist went over and above. They partially compensated me back on the original order and found me a florist in seven Oaks to make the delivery for me on a Saturday. Thank you again for going above and beyond!

My propensity to destroy all things chlorophyll related doesn't mean that I don't have a great love for plants and flowers. Croxted Road Garden Centre has a cornucopia of beautiful plants for really cheap prices. I saw this cabbage plant that had purple, pink and white leaves for £1.50 a pot. It was the most beautiful cabbage I've ever seen. Whether you're a landscaper extraordinaire or you just want to get a bonsai tree for your lounge the knowledgeable staff will be able to steer you in the right direction. Nothing in here is expensive, so if you need soil or just some tulip bulbs you won't have to plan on spending too much money.

They seem to favour plants grown locally (Surrey mostly) and have some really unusual herbs such as tangerine sage and black mint. They also serve tea, coffee and locally made cakes, which are all scrummy! On a lovely day, it is heavenly to sit outside in amongst all the greenery enjoying a cuppa and a slice of home made cake. They also offer free local delivery (same day) which was brilliant for us as we bought loads of compost and had walked from home, so didn't fancy walking back with it!
