Shelly Rice --I was so scared and nervous walking in to the studio for my consultation and then 3 days later what seemed like a blink of an eye was my photo shoot. As I am not a skinny girl I have some extra weight and I don't feel sexy or beautiful most days, honestly I don't ever feel that way, well u must all know those feelings sure changed the day of my shoot. As you all should know I decided to do this shoot a lot for myself as I am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and to see if I could change the way I see and feel about myself also not to lie I thought it would be a nice gift as well to give my boyfriend some of the photos for our anniversary . Well on Friday July3rd I walked into the Pink Blush Boudoir and was amazed how comfortable I felt, I was so lucky to have Sarina to have done my makeup I could not believe the way she made me feel on the inside and out I have never looked so beautiful in my own eyes then I did that day. My make up was spectacular the most beautiful thing I have ever seen or ever had on my face along with my hair as it was as just as perfect what a way to feel amazing. The best thing about the beautiful makeup and hair was I looked like a beautiful woman but I also still looked like me just the best me I have ever seen, secretly as I walked out that day I wanted to put Sarina into my pocket so I could have her to do my makeup every day. :) i want to thank Sarina for that for showing me that I am a beautiful woman. Then on to the scary part OMG I have to be in lingerie as I heard the voice screaming in my head OMG u cant do this are u insane..... Well guess what as those voices were trying to get me to run away screaming LOL Calie walked in as my photographer introduced herself and we started to look at my outfits as she was talking and we were laughing something clicked inside of me and I was like OK LETS DO THIS.... all of a sudden my attitude changed I threw out all of shyness and insecurities and fear and just went with it all. As we entered into the first boudoir, I remembered how beautiful it was we started and I have never had so much fun having a picture taken then I did that way with Calie, When I did not know what to do she showed me and walked me through everything it was so relaxing and easy. We talked and laughed the entire time it was such a piece of cake and the time flew bye in a blink of an eye. As Calie helped tie me into my corset and adjust my baby doll to help me cover up the parts of me I did not want shown she took care of my every need everything from my clothes to makeup she was a superstar and did it all, her words to me I'm going to get very close and personal with you today LOL and oh yes she did....The best part about it she brought the Sexy out of me and that was the best gift of all. Then came the revel of the photos OH NO OMG I HAVE TO SEE MYSELF NOW .... OH PLEASE NO ... Well I went in and met with Calie and I was stunned I could not believe what I was seeing in my slide show I could not believe it was me I looked so Sexy and beautiful I have never seen that before I was so happy and relieved. I was so happy with all of pics I so wish I could of bought them all, heck I even said they could use any of them and that's a big thing strangers being able to see me in lingerie but I'm so proud of them I would feel honored to have people see them. So in ending I want to thank Sarina and Calie for the amazing job they did and how they made me feel so sexy and beautiful along with so welcome and comfortable, I would go back to them in a heart beat and do another shoot and I would recommend any woman to do their boudoir shoot with these ladies it would be the best money you have ever spent, take the leap of faith go for it because I did and it was one of the best things I have ever did for myself. I don't think I will ever be able to thank you Sarina and Calie for helping me complete this goal and making me feel so beautiful and sexy on the inside and out it's the first time in 37 years I have ever felt this way. I will never forget that day I did my first ever Boudoir shoot... PS.. Sarina can you teach me how to do my makeup ;) PPS.. I do not even know where to begin. These ladies are so amazing from start to finish they made me feel so comfortable and confident. If you have been on the fence about having these types of photos done, I strongly recommend that you do it. Not only for a significant other but for yourself it is very empowering. I decided to have these done for my husband for our 10th anniversary because he would never imagine that I would do something like this in my life. I am an extremely shy and reserved person being a mom of two boys and having had a major surgery that left a large scar on my body I was really nervous and worried, seriously what can I say the ladies from PINK are fantastic. They set up an initial consultation and you get to meet them and see the studio, it was very informal but helps with any questions you have or ideas they are very open to everything, they will help you with outfit choices, they have been doing this a while so they are good at what is best for you and your body type. I also highly recommend going with the hair and makeup as well, Sarina did such a fantastic job on my makeup and hair I had people telling me I looked so different and amazing but it was also fun and helped me relax for my shoot. I was extremely surprised with my images when I got to view them and how much DID NOT require to be touched up, these ladies floored me at capturing me and making me feel amazing and beautiful. They have a true talent when it comes to photographing women at their most vulnerable. I honestly never expected that I could look the way I did in the photos, I actually cried when I left at how stunning they were and that was me and how my husband says he sees me, beautiful. Their studio is beautiful, the photos on the blog and Instagram as well as facebook are stunning you need to check them out, no you need to have this done, every woman needs to experience this at some point in their life. I recently had a boudoir photo shoot here and I have to say it was awesome! Although the session ended up starting a little late, Sarina still made sure I got full service when it came to my hair and makeup and that I still had a full photo shoot session. I was surprised at how easily I went topless for some photos (haha) actually, but I think it was because she was very down to earth and easy to work with. She made me feel totally comfortable. I went home from that afternoon and could not stop talking about it with my friends and encouraging them to get their own photos done. The end result of the photos was really great to see, and I totally felt beautiful taking them! I came back to edit because I forgot to add that they show you the untouched photos first, and this was important to my particular reason for going. It was very lovely to see the photos in a natural state, as in, what I actually look like and see how 'good' I looked! But it was also nice to have the option of some airbrushing of skin to really give that finishing touch. I still looked totally natural! The consultation process, the photo shoot and everything after has been a total breeze and they were even completely accommodating since I am afraid of dogs - they would make sure the dogs wouldn't come running up to me anytime I went there. I wanted to Thank Calie and Sarina at Pink Blush for making my photo shoot so much fun!!! My daughter had had family photos taken by Calie and referred her to me for my sexy shoot. Knowing that I am not a sexy girl made it stressful in my head. I arrived at a beautiful home to which was the studio. Sarina did my hair and makeup divine and then Calie did my shoot. I like many others are very self conscious of my body and begged Calie to make me look thin and beautiful. To which she laughed and said "but you are both those" I didn't believe her at that point. Some point during the photo shoot I became BEAUTIFUL AND SEXY!! She MADE me that way. She was so much fun to be around and so positive and not rushed. Although you can't suck all my fat out she did a damn good job positioning me and making me look like a supermodel ( well not that far) lol. I did feel so sexy and had an amazing time. The time flew by and we were done. I was able to view my pictures just 4 days later and they were STUNNING. I loved them so much. Calie is a miracle worker!!!! Lol. A boudoir photography shoot had been on my radar screen for decades. Because of cost, confidence or courage, it never happened. Now in my 60's, it was still a desire, and rapidly becoming a "bucket list" item. A groupon opportunity came available. Cost was covered, now I needed the confidence and courage to book a session. Just got my photos back from my second visit to Pink Blush Boudoir...The first time Calie photographed me. She made me feel comfortable (since it was my first shot at boudoir) and had tonnes of great sexy and edgy pose ideas. I ended up with so many great pictures it was hard to choose! I was so surprised I could actually look so amazing after three kids! lol When I saw the deal come up again I could't refuse. Sarina was the photographer this time and since these were meant for a gift for my husband she made the shoot sexy but romantic too :) The girls will also retouch your photos and this makes you more confident as you know those stretchmarks or wrinkles you may be self conscious about can easily be erased. Bring a few outfits and the girls will help you accessorize to make you look great...They have quite a selection of shoes and corsets etc to choose from too. Give them your ideas and look at other boudoir photos before your appointment so you have an idea of what to expect. If you are looking to do a boudoir photo shoot I would highly recommend these ladies!! Having a consult prior to the shoot was great :) You get to meet the girls and see how awesome they are, as well as tour the beautiful studio. Being an Interior Designer I was very impressed with the set up! The day of the shoot was so great! Sarina did my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful! Cali was so great at helping me with my outfits and making me feel confident, comfortable and sexy. It was so nice to have her go over all the poses with me and help with my facial expressions. It really was stress free and I had so much fun!! I went in for my second consult to look at all the pictures. Of course it starts with some nerves to see what you will look like on that screen! I have long been wanting to do a boudoir shoot, but things like my own confidence and a worry that the images I received would be tacky held me back. But, I decided it was now or never and thought this might be a great boost for my confidence, as well as something my future self would thank me for. And I was right! My experience with Pink Blush began with a referral from a friend I NEVER would have thought would get boudoir photos. I just wanted a photographer, but I called Sarina anyways, hoping she'd do a fashion/editorial shoot. Because of my special circumstances, Sarina agreed. She was patient, kind, and gave good direction and had such a creative mind. She is also an excellent photographer. Her compassion and willingness to work around my disabilities was a challenge, and she had no problem making beautiful images despite my issues. I absolutely love the pictures. I can't pick the ones I want retouched, because they're all so fantastic. And, at the end of the day, I found myself in my undies for boudoir shots. The one thing I said I wouldn't be doing! I would highly recommend Pink Blush Boudoir to everyone (I think I already have). I think boudoir is something everyone should give a try - it makes you see yourself differently and everyone should feel sexy! It really doesn't matter what your body type is or how old you are. I did it as a birthday gift to my boyfriend, but in the end it was more so for me. I was a little nervous going into it, but Calie and Sarina did an awesome job making me look my best and feel comfortable. Calie was my photographer and she did an awesome job helping me with the different poses and fixing my hair. In no way would I have been able to pose like that on my own! Although it can be unnerving to remove your clothes in front of a total stranger, the Ladies of Pink Blush made the experience of a boudoir photo shoot far less so. From the moment I arrived, where I was welcomed into Blush's beautifully appointed studio, until a goodbye hug at the door, Sarina and Calie were phenomenal at putting me at ease! Sarina's talent with a makeup brush, curling iron, and the ability to talk about anything made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Calie's skill behind the camera is only matched by her way of making you feel as if sprawled on a fur covered bed is the most natural thing in the world. And the final product? I came here as a surprise for my boyfriend and I absolutely lovely. It was just as much a present for me as it is for him. Hair and makeup was wonderful by Brenna (I believe that was her name.) I was a little worried as I don't wear much normally, but she listened to what I had for suggestions and made me look gorgeous. We talked the whole time and she was so friendly and open. The shooting itself was painless, comfortable and easy. Callie laughed with me the whole time and made me feel comfortable even when I was nude. She made sure to get different poses and faces all the while showing me how and making it simple for me. Everybody was so accommodating to all my requests and made me feel so great about it. I wanted to give my husband a Valentine's Day gift he wouldn't forget, so I thought a boudoir shoot would be something he'd never expect in a million years. As a 60-something woman, however, you can imagine how nervous I was about revealing too much skin. The Pink Blush team, Sarina and Calie, were both so sweet and reassuring, and by the time the shoot was over, I walked out feeling very special. I was looking for just one image as a memory of my 30's coming to an end, but couldn't choose just one. Calie and Sarina are a great team, they know every trick in the book and are very experienced. The entire experience was fun and comfortable. I would recommend every woman try this at least once. Whether it be for a special occasion or just a memory like me, it is empowering and so much fun. The studio is set up beautifully. When you return to view your images you see them on a large screen so you can choose your favourites easily. I've followed Pink Blush Boudoir of Facebook for years and finally convinced myself to get photos done. I love Sarina and Calie's work and they did not disappoint. Both offered great suggestions for what to wear and makeup and hair went smoothly.
