If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I ordered a group lunch for my office today and we had everything from the sandwiches, to the salads, to the baked sweet potatoes to the bowls. Fresh, yummy and we felt like we were eating healthy :-). The service was incredible and the food is amazing. Pink Carrot is a gem in Boston's North End. Many healthy choices from the greenest salads, to healthy fresh juices and smoothies. My favorite meal here is Turkey burger that is seasoned and cooked to perfection over a garden avocado salad with apple cider vinegar dressing Every time I order this meal I feel as if I am having Thanksgiving dinner. Staff is wonderful. They always make you feel welcomed and never rushed. One of my favorite juices is called Iron Man. Lot of green goodness in this one drink. Both Charlie and James do a wonderful job making this juice which they could also make into a smoothie as well Sabrina has introduced me to other food options such as the chicken mojo wrap. This meal is so filling - be prepared to take half home. She will advise on ways I could enhance my meals by adding certain dressings and/or Jams. I had one of the best salads ever - kale Brussels - with so many filling ingredients that make one think it must contain meat. Perfectly diced sweet potatoes, broccoli, almonds, pecorino in a light lemony dressing. It was so large that I saved half for the next day. My friend's wrap looked delicious. This place is unique among the standard Italian fare in the North End. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.T Our server was efficient and helpful. Pink Carrot is an absolute welcome addition to the heavier pasta options in the North End! As a resident of this neighborhood for 4 years, it's great to feel like I have a small business to support while also eating healthier. The menu is unique, the space is fun and the food is delicious. One star off because of the amount of time it takes to get your food. I think they must have an extremely small kitchen and are still getting used to their business flow, but it took 30 minutes the other day to get an avocado toast, and my partner's took an additional 10 after that. We love this place if we're not in a hurry and want to sit and chat in a pretty space for a while, but if you're in a rush, it may not be your best bet for a quick meal. read more

What an awesome place! Super friendly staff. Very accommodating to our friend was had nut allergy. Food was amazing. We spent $550 on dinner the previous night (at Italian eatery close by) and our meals at Pink Carrot were better! Miami Rob and Kale Brussels salad w double chicken were top notch and HUGE! we met the owner JoAnn is a beautiful Italian women who created this gem. Great job! I go to pink carrot often but today was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I have a severe allergy to sesame seeds and they brought out my salmon with sesame seeds on it. So I told the server and he was extremely dismissive of my concern and continuously told me I did not read the menu correctly when the kale and Brussels salad never said anything about sesame seeds. I was not accommodated in any way and I had to leave because I felt so uncomfortable. He was extremely rude and I will not be taking my business back there. read more

I understand they are dog friendly. I love dogs as well but not inside the restaurant next to my food. The person with the dog walked in to say Hi. A nice, welcoming, sophisticated but charming place tucked in among older Italian food places in Salem street. Employees are friendly and prompt - I was quickly welcomed and offered a menu once I walked in. I ordered coffee and a veggie burger. The veggie burger was very well done and actually felt healthy while remaining really tasty. The bun was perfectly toasted and everything felt fresh. My only recommendation would be to provide a side with this and other dishes (thinking salad, slaw, chips). The coffee is on par with other places in the neighborhood, and was prepared thoughtfully (milk was not poured into it excessively). Also, it was very large even for a "large". Overall, satisfied with food and ambiance and I hope these guys do good business! read more

I really liked the concept of this restaurant. Super cute and trendy and very nice outdoor indoor vibe. However, I went in when it was not busy and waited over 30 minute for a to go smoothie which was more like a juice and was warm. I brought it back once I tasted it because it was way to warm to be a smoothie and seemed melted and they gave me a new one however that was still not cold and was melted. They gave me the replacement in 5 minutes so I'm really not sure why I waited 30 minutes for the first one. Overall wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend trying. I wish it was nice because the atmosphere is a place I'd want to go to with friends on a weekend. Smoothie was 10 dollars and was not good. Price point is way to high considering you can go get smoothie bowls and açaí bowls for 12 dollars. I'm very familiar with these types of establishments all over the country and I know good quality when I see it. This wasn't it. read more
