This was the second dog I have taken to Groomingdales after many years. No one there ever let me know there was an issue. When I dropped my dog off, I could read the sign in sheet, beside my dog's name it said in all caps: NAUGHTY and MAD MAX!!! I never asked about it. I just never went back. Our current groomer let me know that our dog is difficult to groom, and he is on medication when he gets groomed. No one at Groomingdales ever let me know there was an issue.

At that point, I noticed that while her hair was cut short as I requested, her ears and face were not done correctly, and it appeared the grooming had rushed due to their busy schedule that day. She also had trouble locating my dog once I got there. Once I got her home, I discovered she had also been cut under her neck. I feel the grooming quality is inconsistent; the first time I took my dog, she was cut excessively, the second time was excellent, which is why I returned, but unfortunately, this time I experienced the same issue of subpar grooming. Honestly, I should have stopped that the first but I wanted to like this place. I genuinely believe I could have done a better job myself, and I will not be returning to them again.
