Whenever I had a question they were prompt to reply and jump into help. Everyone on the team is extremely helpful and want to do what they can to support our business. Operating payroll is cumbersome and not something fun but we are really glad to stay with the pink team. They are not expensive and are definitely worth saving the headache of doing it ourselves.. In fact; there are times when I go to Erica and her team for general questions over my own accountant. Of course, they aren't accountants but they are an amazing resource. This review is a last resort. We contracted with pink payroll when we started a new business with just one employee. At the same time, Erika Phillips acted as producing agent for our workers comp policy. Pink payroll did a fine job for the first year, but we contracted with gusto, an online payroll service, for year two because it was more cost effective for our small company. Herein lies the problem. Once we stopped using pink payroll, all customer service became non existent. When we tried to cancel the workers comp policy, which we did not find on our own, we have had nothing but problems. There is the producer, benefits wheel, aka pink payroll. There is the middleman, builders & tradesman insurance. There are two insurance companies, sequoia insurance and am trust insurance. No matter who we call or what forms we send in, everyone passes it off to someone else. There is NO HELP whatsoever from pink payroll, the company that received a commission from selling us this policy. Terrible! Pink payroll, I hope you're reading this review. We had just started tax season and added 20 people to payroll. We were having a hard time getting the payroll out to Erica and her group. Worst payroll company ever. Don't trust your money with this company. At first the owner seemed friendly, but she stopped responding to requests. They made an error on a tax payment and file. Instead of helping with the situation, the owner blamed it on us and was going to charge us to look into it. We stayed with them for another month and asked for a report to be re-sent. After the 5th request, the owner said she would need to charge us for this. Needless to say, we left this pitiful excuse of a company. It is such a relief not having to deal with payroll, taxes, tax reporting, calculating vacation time, etc. What is even better, when I need data, or copies of documents for my accountant, Erica and her staff produce what I need almost immediately.
