I initially went to PD for event makeup, and immediately knew I had to have her for my wedding in LA since she's so experienced and has such a great personality. She makes sure the makeup looks flattering on your features and is open to adjusting the look if you want to go a different direction. I've gotten my makeup done a few times professionally in the past, but PD is the best one I've gone to since she doesn't heavily layer products and only uses the necessary amount for your complexion to look its best. I've even put the bridal trial hair and makeup to the ultimate test by rock climbing, and everything, including my low wispy bun, stayed intact. The same went for my wedding day - she gave me a touch-up kit but I didn't use it much (except for the lip product) since nothing budged even though I cried a bit during speeches. I got the bridal package and got a lash lift from her as well. The bridal package also includes a basic gel manicure. PD can do basically everything! She also did my bridal party and both moms' make up and hair, and everyone loved it. My younger sister is even planning to book her for her graduation hair and makeup. PD did everyone's hair and makeup so quickly starting at 6am, and took on average a little over an hour per person. PD did my hair, my bridal party's hair and my mother's hair for my wedding and we all turned out gorgeous! We were a large enough group that she was able to bring a second hairstylist with her (who was also wonderful and did an excellent job!) so we could start at 9am instead of 6am. They arrived promptly, got set up and finished in record time while providing great quality work. PD was very communicative leading up to the event day which I appreciated. I also liked how transparent she was about pricing on her website. I did not have a hair trial done before, but PD was able to work off of some inspiration photos to create a half updo with a braid down the back. She also included a bridal hairpiece I had bought. My bridal party had variations of half updos as well and everyone's hair looked great for the whole event! I couldn't believe at the end of the night after our reception/dance party how in tact my style had stayed. PD and her assistant stylist were kind, easy-going and fun to talk to! Great professional vibe as well. They made sure we were all happy with our styles before they left. I booked hair and make up with Pink Unicorn 3 months in advance of my wedding, which was going to be on a Thursday. I had to cancel the appointment due to my wedding being cancelled 6 weeks before the day. I gave her SIX WEEKS notice of my wedding being CANCELLED and begged for a refund and he asked if other vendors were giving me a refund (why does that matter?) and then before I even responded she said she will NOT refund me.
