Decided to try this spot today and was not disappointed! The shop itself is super cute and has a really nice outdoor seating area. I had their Vietnamese iced coffee and the skillet dish (I forgot what it was called) and it was soooo yummy. It's a really big plate too. I had leftovers and had the second half for dinner. I've driven by this place so many times and always saw people chilling on the patio with their coffee, so I finally decided to stop by with a friend. Honestly, I'm so glad I did! We ordered the bánh canh, fried chicken cartilage, egg coffee, and Dubai coffee. We were hungry so there were no pictures I didn't expect much, but man the coffee here is so good! I was pleasantly surprised by this place! First off, the decor is very clean and modern. I was expecting it to be completely pink due to the name, but when I came in it was more warm, neutral tones. The aesthetic is adorable. They even serve their water in geometric cups with rose gold rims. They have banh xeo tacos, which blew my mind because I have consumed copious amounts of banh xeo over the years but why haven't I thought of this before? Genius! Their chicken wings were also solid and come in a fish sauce as well as a sweet and sour sauce. My favorite dish was the tom yum pasta. I appreciate them being innovative with this dish and taking one of my favorite Thai soups and fusing it with a pasta dish. It was a little spicy, but the right amount of spicy. The service is a tad bit slow, but that is because there was only one person working. However, the service was very kind and would thank us for waiting. Back this time today 07/18 because my daughter asked to grab more blind bags for her. The waitress told me that the promotion ended and I was ok with that. But unfortunately the food didn't make it up to my expectation this time. They changed the menu and kitchen staffs from what I heard so my favorites were all gone. What a let down! Eventually I went ahead and ordered two garlic noodle dishes, one with beefsteak and one with shaken beef. Both were just lack of flavor according to my kids. I got the banh xeo taco. They tried to create something fancy but it is just the decoration. The taco shell is basically deep fried to get the crunchiness and the filling is only some shrimps with veggies.
