There was two washers (only one worked) and three dryers (only 1 1/2 worked) The washing machine that worked was filthy dirty! Someone must have washed all their dog/cat bedding in it. The tv in the club house has no cable box, so it doesn't work. I would recommend this park for the long term "fully self contained" rv'er, not so much for the overnight traveler. Cheers

There's even a sticky note next to each unit suggesting "72° is optimal"--but none of our cabins ever cooled that low. Management clearly knows this since every room also comes with an oscillating fan. Without the fan, sleeping comfortably would've been impossible. * The couch in the lodge is downright gross. No clue when it was last cleaned, but it feels long overdue. * WiFi is basically useless. I'm convinced they're running a residential setup for the whole property. It was painfully slow--I ended up relying on my phone's data most of the time. * No ice machine anywhere on site (that I could find). PROS: * The main hall/community room is great--lots of space, a big kitchen, and perfect for group activities. * Location is solid: only about 15 minutes from Medicine Park. * Horseshoes, cornhole, and frisbee golf are a nice touch. * Fire pit and outdoor charcoal grill made evenings fun. * Management is pretty reliable. Easy to reach. INDIFFERENT: * The lodge offers washers and dryers, but the hours of availability could be better. Overall: a 3-star stay. It works fine for a group gathering if you don't mind sweating it out in the cabins and bringing your own WiFi/ice solutions.

Nobody was around so I searched and found some info. The Lone Oak Cottage is a charming, recently remodeled cobblestone cottage located in the heart of Medicine Park. A historic resort town founded in 1908 known for its unique cobblestone architecture and scenic beauty. Offers a beautiful view of Medicine Park Creek and surrounding mountains from a wrap-around, screened-in porch. Includes a fully equipped kitchen, a queen-size bed, a trundle bed, and a luxurious clawfoot tub. Additional amenities: cable TV, ceiling fans, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, spacious living room with vaulted ceiling, and complimentary coffee, snacks, and soft drinks. No mention of pet friendly snotty would be a deal breaker if not allowed. Will call before deciding. Wish we could have seen the inside.

We first were told that our room will be ready an hour earlier then expected and then we were greeted by this beautifully outgoing and welcoming person. Her Name was Colleen and she is the owner of the bed and breakfast. She quickly told us where to park and exactly how to enjoy the amenities of her property. There was a beautiful veranda which was a wrap around porch that looked over medicine Park. We spent a lot of time on that veranda that I have pictured below. The coyote den where we stayed was more like a studio apartment. I would say it's cozy with 6 and yes the bedroom was open to the living room. There was one bed, one pull out couch, and one long couch to sleep on. She did say that she will be updating the place more and more. She even offered her couch as additional sleeping. It's a very welcoming and homey atmosphere with snacks at the table and even 2 beers in the fridge to start off. If you are younger and enjoy drinking and hanging she is more then welcome to join and have a great time. She even brought out one of her favorite bottles of scotch from Scotland. She told us of amazing trails around the wildlife refuge and even about a music festival that was going on in the city center. We cooked out on the propane grill she provided and she even had a charcoal grill as well. The breakfast she prepared for us was amazing! I could not rave about this more. She brought out normal coffee but also French press coffee. She had eggs scrambled with hatch chiles from New Mexico, biscuits and gravy, prickly pear jam, rhubarb jam (both made fresh from her garden), and bacon. Seriously I could not promote this business more. I actually kind of want to keep it a secret it's so amazing. I even included a picture of Colleen enjoying breakfast with us.

There was hair in and on the bathtub. Some of the towels were missing. Come to find out, the room was given to us but was never cleaned. They sent someone to clean it and the manager called to apologize and let me know the room was clean less than 10 minutes later. I asked how did they change the sheets and clean up in 6 minutes? She offered free breakfast for the inconvenience but we just ended up canceling the reservation.
