Great menu and sitting in front of the impressive wall of alcohol! Specifically came to venue for this reason so immediately determined we were in the perfect setting! The bartender Dave Newman is one of the 5 finalist for the James Beard Award for outstanding professional in cocktail service - and that's out of the whole United States...top 5! It's been too long but I finally visited the new location which is beautifully decorated with the gorgeous wall of spirits warm touches inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. I chose to sit at the bar with my friend and started with a couple of drinks made with Angels Envy. We were very happy with the bartender's choice that we enjoyed with scotch eggs, fish & chips, bone marrow, and strawberries with bacon & marscapone we then had bacon first shots and whiskey a Cho Cho for dessert which is dark and milk chocolate with salt that you taste with whiskey a must try!!!! We made reservations as we were driving in from the Windward side and had a good welcome at the hostess stand and provided a nice table. Our server came quickly and gave us a little time to soak up the menu. The ambiance was perfect with the wall of spirits and the chalkboards that listed all the different spirits and beers available. I've always enjoyed Pint & Jigger when they were at their old location. I was sad when they had to close but excited to hear they would be opening up at the Ala Moana Hotel. If you'd like to make a reservations, you can go on their webpage and you can book it there. I've been to their new location twice and the food and drinks is good. The ambience ...music is a little loud and sometimes I felt like I was shouting when having a conversation. On the other hand, service is good. My favorite drink...the Brrr-jito. So refreshing. I'm glad this place reopened with better parking options. At least there's the option to pay for valet (not sure if validated and cheaper - for signature the price is $6) or surreptitiously park at the mall ignoring all the signage about how it's only for mall customers. Or buy something from the mall t be an honest citizen. It's essentially the same as it was previously. There's a communal long benches seating area that's very loud just like it was before. There's some kind of air hockey table on the side and darts I think. So little roomier. And then there's the bar area. Servers are attentive. Drinks and food are the same as before I think which is elevated bar food and cocktails. It was closed for so long that I honestly can't remember. I AM IN WHISKEY HEAVEN! I'm hella geeking out right now! I've been wanting to come here & they seriously didn't disappoint. Located in the Ala Moana Hotel, this chic spot is a whiskey enthusiasts Heaven. Walking into the establishment, your eyes are drawn to the wall-to-wall display of whiskey & spirits. There is also multiple TV screens. They not only serve whiskey, but they also offer other spirits & beers as well. They have a good selection of appetizers & burgers as well. Our waitress had been very friendly & knowledgeable. She suggested the Old Fashioned Sous Vide, which had a nice robust taste & not to sweet. My husband wanted to try the Eagle Rare 10 year P+J, which smelled divine & even tasted better. The new Pint and Jigger has the same vibe and atmosphere of the old one despite being twice as large and inside of a large busy hotel. They could've easily lowered their previous standards with the steady Ala Moana traffic, but thankfully they leveled up! Service is fantastic from the time you're greeted at the door to the time you pay your bill. Food is amazing! Doesn't matter what you get. Our standards are the fried pickles and scotch eggs. Delicious! Drinks. Oh my. An amazing array of on tap beer at great prices. Craft drinks that never let me down. My favorite is the 5th Amendment. A spin on an Old Fashion of their own making. And the "brown" liquor wall is an Instagram gem. Make reservations online ahead of time. This place is busy from the time they open to the time they close. Walk ins are a gamble. It's easy to spend a few hours in here. It's like being transported to a far away pub with all your best friends and all anyone wants to do is have a great time. It's also a good place to watch sports. For the food, the applewood smoked bacon and the waffle fries are great appetizers to share, and the stout burger is a signature. The chicken sammie had a crispy, evenly spiced fried chicken patty, but the buns tasted like they were from the grocery store. New "speakeasy" in town near Ala Moana. This was not a speak easy unless the hostess did not get me into the right area. I did call and ask about the "speakeasy" and a reservation. She said come by. It was just a bar inside a hotel. Yes, it was nice with lots of whiskey choices. Drinks were pricing for being off the Waikiki strip. Service was good. Good food choices as well! Aloha, P&Js will always be my go-to bar. I love IPAs, and they have many, nice! Dave has done it again, with another beautiful P&Js. And if you're lucky, he'll give you a tour of the new secret door, yes through a bookcase to the Harry's Hardware, nice. Located in the ala Moana hotel, PnJ is a dimly lit wood tavern with picnic benches and high top tables. It is a great place to hang out with friends (they have a table shuffle board) and have a snack. I have been there twice now and both times the servers were very attentive and good spirited. They have a variety of fries which I enjoyed. Burger and chicken sandwiches are good but not enough to reflect the price point especially with the extra cost for the toppings. I got the summer skillet, did not like it buts that's on me for trying to be healthy when I really wanted fries. If your looking for a place to have a nice dinner their are better options at this price point. They did forget one of our food items and it came after we finished eating, which sucked, as it was an appetizer item. They also didn't adjust the check for that oversight, which is unusual to me. came here for football sunday since we hadnt been to this new location SUPER hard to find, totally not where i thought it was, had to ask the concierge for directions. if you're in the lobby, walk towards starbucks, theres a hallway on the right side, follow that allllll the way down, passed the convenience store, and then you'll see it on your left at the end of the hallway. super super hidden. if you didnt know they were there, you'd never know, because theres no signage in the lobby if you plan to watch football, go as soon as they open because 1) they dont take reservations for brunch, and 2) if you want your game on a tv then you have to request for it. luckily we were one of the first parties in so we got 2 of our games on the tvs. people who came in afterwards had to sit in the far back at the only tv that wasnt reserved. its similar to BWW in that sense, where you can request/reserve games on specific screens. brunch menu is separate from the dinner menu. if youre looking at the drinks, its just random names, and you have no idea whats in them. so i had to keep asking the server what things were, because they sounded fun and i wanted to try new things. BUT, he never knew what anything was so had to keep going back to the bartender to ask. drinks were all super tasty though. the sangria was dangerously good. the cucumber cocchi had a bit too much bitters, as that was all i could really taste. lilikoi mimosa was yummy too. Cold brew was yummy and the cream was super tasty and thick. food-wise, everything is pretty british. english breakfast (sans the black pudding), biscuits and gravy, etc. there are no simple light options. everything is pretty heavy and decadent. the biscuits and gravy had a ton of flavor. while i wished the biscuits were a tad fluffier, they were still really tasty and buttery. the gravy was super good too, as long as you didnt get a whole peppercorn in one your bites. frittata was good. it was more like corn frittata than an egg based one. TONS and TONS of corn, i could hardly get any egg. and while i had asked for it with no bell peppers, their mix is already prepared so they cant take it out. fried pickles werent that great. simply because the breading was just like a flour dredge and not panko, so it was very soggy and not at all crispy. the sauce was good though, and a bit on the spicy side. All the tables around us kept getting the chimichanga, so it must be yummy. Looked really good, but too heavy and too much friedness for that early in the morning i would go back. def want to try the dinner menu. i used to love the food at the OG spot read more

I loved Pint & Jigger and so had to come back to see their new location. Located in the Ala Moana hotel. If you're coming from the main entrance lobby you go to the left side down the hallway & you'll see their sign. Very easy to find. You can either park in Ala Moana or at the hotel. Right now they don't have a set price for parking vallet so I was able to get free parking, though not free when you tip the vallet. You do need to make a reservation beforehand. Very easy to make one by going on their website & selecting the date and time. There's way more room at their new location which is nice. They still have their shuffleboard. The ambiance is still the same which is nice. The food & drinks were delicious as always! read more

My bf and I checked out this newly relocated gastropub at Ala Moana Hotel for some after dinner celebratory drinks for my gf's belated birthday. We are loving the vibe, service and cocktails and I am super excited to actually also try more of their food on our next visit. The prices are very reasonable for the location, quality and atmosphere. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and helpful. Reservations are highly recommended for peak times (before 10pm). Tip: currently, there is no validated parking at the hotel. Ala Moana Shopping Center just started charging non-shoppers for parking, however they mean to enforce it. read more

This is one of my favorite bars to go to in Hawaii. I'm super glad that they finally reopened after a period of closure. The new location is located inside the Ala Moana hotel. The place seems to be a bit more spacious and has a wonderful wall of spirits to choose from. If you like whiskey/bourbon, this is the place to go to.
