The cigar aren't fresh. No humidor out dated smoke shop. You be better off going to S and J cigars on Baltimore pike.The service is bad the store needs more people working. read more

Lansdowne is a cute little town with old small town charm and they are acting like they are in the ghetto and are behind bullet proof glass with all of the merchandise. They built the store like they build the Chinese take outs in the most dangerous parts of north and west Philly. I know its not the safest neighborhood anymore but nowhere is completely safe. So basically its not a pleasant shopping atmosphere. Other than that, they are the closest tobacco shop to my house, the owners appreciate my business, they carry the products I use and they have fair prices so I'll continue to shop here and recommend this store you others.

Even the "organic" section didn't inspire confidence and looked questionable at best. Noticeably better quality for organic at similar or lower prices at Aldi or Lidl. The worst part was the raspberries: every single one of the four containers I bought had mold growing in the bottom layers. That's not a minor quality issue - that's outright unacceptable for produce being sold for consumption. At that price point, it would have been more cost-effective to buy fewer, higher-quality containers at Whole Foods rather than four unusable ones Overall, the produce quality is extremely poor and freshness seems like an afterthought. I regret buying from here again, and I won't be making that mistake in the future.

We sat in almost every couch up the street at West Elm, and came away underwhelmed, seemingly a lot of furniture is made for just looks. We sat down in the first couch we saw here and the difference was like night and day - immediately it was clear Basset is still building furniture for human use. We ended up with a timeless looking sofa and ottoman in a sharp green velvet that we'll have to plead with our cat to maintain. The owner of the store is helpful, with a good sense of humor and not pushy. We walked away with a good deal without needing any holiday coupons or sales and no created urgency. Great to know they're right up the road - highly recommend for anyone in the area burned out with third party drop shipping and the glut of middling quality mid century modern sh*t.
