History

Established in 1990.

We purchased Piper's Glen Resort in 1990 from a Scottish family. The father played the bagpipes, and would play for the guests in the evening. Which is where the name came from. There are seven cabins which all have Scottish surnames, thirty-six full and partial serviced RV sites.

We purchased Piper's Glen Resort in 1990. Ken and I stayed overnight with our (then) two small boys and we had a great time. On the way out we noticed a for sale sign, the rest is history. Our family grew to 3 boys and one girl. Growing up at the resort they learned to help at a young age. Cutting grass, helping Mom with the cleaning, painting, etc. They met people from all over the world. Learned a lot of valuable life lessons. The kids are all grown up now and are all doing well in there chosen professions. Owning Piper's Glen Resort is always interesting with new people coming through every year, and returning guests. Every year brings new projects and goals. Not to mention the beautiful scenery we are so lucky to wake up to every day, and its relaxed lifestyle. Piper's Glen Resort offers a convenient location on Highway 16, with a beautiful lake, Fraser Lake, great fishing, rainbow trout and char, fabulous scenery.
