Unfortunately when we asked for our food 3 different times it still took the staff another 15 minutes to get half the order out and even after that they STILL got the order wrong. Decent burger. Service not great. Young lady tried to take our change for her tip. Which would have been well over 30%. We had to stand there till we got our change and she still short changed us. Only a little but still I found this rude. We know enough spanish to get by and that is our fault. Most people have been nothing but kind. read more

I didn't realize this was a chain until after we'd been walking around the city a bit more. The decor drew us in from below, and once you find your way in, it's more like a cafeteria. We sat at a table near the window but couldn't really people watch. However, there are pirates littered all over this place and the employees were helpful and friendly. You order at the counter and get a table number then the food is delivered to you. They have fountain sodas (I think it was Pepsi products). The burgers we ordered were super delicious - they're cooked on a flame grill and definitely reflect that flavor. The fries are thin and crispy with garlic and rosemary. Customer service was good. The food, meh. Fries are ok and the Pepsi is Pepsi. The disappointment was the burger. The menu is full of variety with their burgers, but my burger simply was not good. I think they should focus less on burger variety and just focus on a fundamentally solid basic burger. read more

vips next to hotel had decent burger review, but was closed at 9 p.m., even tho the door said 10 p.m. Walked another block to this joint, leery after reading the bad reviews. Placed order at 9:07 p.m. I was the only customer in the place. Opted for the Barbaroja combo with Oaxaca cheese and peppers. It took until 9:25 p.m. to get my order. How does a fast-food joint take 18 minutes to make a single burger and fries with only one customer in the establishment? The burger was lukewarm and the burger patty fell apart in chunks. The Oaxaca cheese was anything but. It was barely melted and was like rubber. The french fries were cold, which is insane, because there were no fries in the bin, and they had to make them fresh as I was the only customer there. The portion was a skimpy joke; about 10 little shoestring fries that were nearly cold. It was just as well, because they tasted like they had been fried in old oil. The fountain drinks are almost flat. Guess they don't know what CO2 is or how to calibrate the machine. McDonalds would have been better, but it was close, and I was tired and hungry after a long day. I would give them 1-star, but my pain was self-inflicted for coming here after reading the reviews. They should put as much effort into cooking their food properly as they do trying to jam their advertising flyers in your face on the sidewalk. Would not return. Total came to 118 pesos or roughly $6 US, which is on par with McDonalds, but paled by comparison. Sad...Also lots of knats/fruitflies buzzing about. read more

Awful. The burgers are not very appealing to me to begin with, but I was starving, so I gave in. I spoke in Spanish correctly and they still got it wrong 3 times. At that point I didn't want my food. But the woman tried to charge me for the drink still when I asked for a refund, because I drank it already. Ok fine, but I still never got the burger I wanted. I had a burger here a couple weeks ago. You might ask, why eat a fast food burger when we were surrounded by so much amazing Mexican street food? I asked my wife that too, when she insisted on trying one - she said she was curious how it compared to chains in the US, since it was super cheap. That and it was a convenient place to mooch wifi for a bit (as our data connection had been unreliable). Anyway, surprisingly enough, the burgers are actually pretty solid. I still wouldn't pick a burger over fantastic al pastor handed to you in 30 seconds for less than a dollar, but that doesn't change the fact that I was expecting super-mediocrity, and actually got a pretty decent burger for super cheap. You can tell that they're definitely made fresh, because they make them literally right in front of you, they're fairly substantial, and come with a pretty wide array of complimentary toppings of your choice, that were also pretty decent quality. They even cut a single burger in half for us at no extra charge. So while I certainly wouldn't eat here all the time if I were back in Mexico City, given the plentiful cheap street food options... if they opened a branch near me back in the US, for similar prices and of similar quality, I'd totally frequent that one fairly often. Way better than McDonalds or Burger King, that's for sure. (Not *better* than In-n-out, but certainly more traditional-burger-y than In-n-out, and with way more topping choices.) I'd also totally come back here if I were in Mexico City again, any time I needed to borrow wifi from somewhere, because they had no problem letting us sit for a noticeable amount of time using it, after we were clearly done eating one burger between the two of us. ;) read more

I French Fried potatoes were very good. The Pepsi was also good. The meat in the burgers was different than what I am used to eating, but many people were enjoying it so for the area it must be good. I did not finish the burger. It would be good for me to loose some weight anyway. read more

Nearly got scammed out of 200 pesos. The cashier gave me the 35 pesos change but he still owed me 200 pesos. Beware Americanos!!

You're better off in McDonald's. Worst fries I ever ate and burgers taste weird. And very crowded despite that.
