Our family was staying in Rapid City to visit Mt. Rushmore. We saw this mini-golf place near our hotel. It looked so cute. We had to make a visit. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was super friendly. The course was so creative and well-designed. So much fun to see the pirate lore throughout the course and pirate mannequins. There was a putting hole in a cave underneath a waterfall. How cool is that? Very unassuming when seen from the street, but once you play the holes, it's like a little hidden oasis. Fun and unique! There was a wide range of challenges and the kids and adults loved it! Interesting pirate trivia was dotted throughout the beautifully landscaped course we even won a token for a free game and a coupon for a dollar off everyone on our next visit. Me and my husband went here today and both of us were so impressed with this place! The couple that ran it were very friendly and explained everything very well to us as this was our first time going. It's across the parking lot from Walmart and Golden Corral, so there's tons of parking in the golf parking lot and outside of that. I've played mini golf all over the states, as I've traveled quite a bit, and I have to say this is one ethereal most beautiful and clean courses I've ever seen!! You can immediately tell as soon as step on it that they take pride in maintaining it. There are 18 holes so it's a great way to spend some fun time with family or friends. Prices are very reasonable and they even have a military discount. My husband and I had so much fun today and I can't wait to bring my son here soon!! read more

This is single-handedly the most badass mini-gold course of all time. When you do anything in a pirate theme it either ends up being unbelievably cheesy, or unbelievably cool. This place is definitely the latter of the two. They used legit materials when building this place. No materials that look like rock but are really plastic sprayed with a "faux granite" finish. Lots of plants/shrubbery, water hazards, and fun decorations like the hanging shark. The holes range from easy to hard, and are definitely friendly for the whole family. This place is conveniently located next to the major strip of hotels that all tourists in the Rapid City area stay. By far one of the nicest mini golf courses we've been to. We were on vacation and looking for something to do with the family. Our kids played the course and said it was the coolest place they've done mini golf all year. The landscaping was beautiful, the course clean and in great shape. I saw one of the employees going around sweeping up random trash and leaves. It's so nice to see people take pride in where they work. The course was a bit challenging, with lots of hills and one hole has a surprise water feature. We thought for sure our ball was a goner down the waterfall but no... There are lots of trees and lots of shade. Also benches to sit on while watching the kids. I saved our scorecard so I'll have a list of the other cities where they have their mini-golf courses. I'll be trying the ones down at the Lake of the Ozarks and in Branson the next time I'm there. read more

This may be the most fun mini-golf course I've ever played. And who doesn't love a pirate-theme? The landscaping is gorgeous during the summer, with tons of plants and flowers nestled among the sparkling waterfalls. The holes range in difficulty from easy to moderate - there are NO volcano holes - but they are all well-designed and fun, not frustrating. The kids get little pirate goody-bags, and so can the adults if they ask really nicely. read more

Clean, friendly staff, and very fun. The ambience is great. Lots of little facts scattered around the place. My children loved playing, this was a fun way to spend a couple hours. This is by far the cleanest and well maintained mini golf course I have ever been to. We stopped into town to visit Mount Rushmore and were staying at the Motel 6 down the street (which didn't have flyers for this place) and noticed the pirate golf sign and the hanging shark form the road. We paid the reasonable price of $8.50 each and I'm glad we came because it was so much fun. The water falls were cleans and the lawn was well maintained. In addition each hole was slightly different and had it's own challenge. Our favorite hole was the one that you golfed under the waterfall. To your right there was a jail ceil full of dread pirate and treasure and to your left there were the backs of the water falls (which I'm not sure what happens if your ball fall in there). At the end you had two chances to win free games one was a free scratcher and the other was like a golf lottery. For under $20 this was the perfect place in Rapid City to relax after a long day on the rode. read more

Stopped here while traveling and had a great time. 1 round of mini golf was about $9 for adults. We came through on a weekday evening, and were immediately helped and on our way to play. The entire course was well-light, well-maintained and landscaped. The overall facility seemed very clean and well cared for. Nothing was in ill-repair, broken, or in need of maintenance. Had a very neat water feature that 1 hole goes underneath of. Even though this is a family-friendly activity, the holes were fun and sometimes a little challenging, and gave the impression that they were well-thought out of and not just for kids. Love this place! My family always passed through Rapid when I was a kid and I always wanted to play here. I finally went 15 or so years later and it was awesome! The place is so clean and the courses are fun. They have music playing and the scenery is beautufl with different flowers everywhere. They have a pretty waterfall and cave course just don't lose your ball in the cave waters or it's bye bye. Definitely give em a try kids or adults alike. read more

My husband and I went here in the last week of May 2012. We had a fun time, but we love mini golf. Compared to other places we have mini golfed we weren't too impressed with the course. There were like 3 really fun ones, the rest were just kind of boring. The 2 workers that night were awesome. They were happy, funny, and kind. They cracked jokes and were super nice. My husband and I decided to take the afternoon to play a round of mini golf. The facility is one of the nicest mini golf facilities I have been to, and is super clean and well maintained. The equipment is in great shape. Each hole had its new challenge for the player to figure out, which made it more fun. We did have to wait our turn to play on a few holes, but the lines moved fairly quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are nice bathroom facilities and soda machines for those needing some refreshment. I would definitely return here the next time I am in the area. read more

This is a lovely mini golf course. I brought my two young kids, and we really enjoyed ourselves. I'm an OK mini-golfer, and this course was a little challenging for me.
