They took the time to explain the process they take in constructing their one of kind pieces and took us for a tour around their workshop so that we understood the available options. Once we made the decision to move forward in purchasing our live edge dining room table and matching bench they were an absolutely dream to work with. They were extremely responsive in answering our emails and provided us the opportunity to come in for a few visits to see the progress and pick paint colors for the legs, stain and slabs of wood! The table is an absolute showstopper in our living room and couldn't be happier with the purchase! They won't let you look around the shop without following you around and asking you not to touch anything. Oh also they have a million perfume testers which they get mad if you smell them. Literally you cannot smell open samples of perfumes or they scream at you not to touch them. The overall attitude was very hostile and unwelcoming, which was surprising in a neighborhood where most small business owners are warm and appreciative of customers. I left feeling really disappointed because I had intended to give them my business. After mentioning the experience to a few other locals, I learned that others had similar interactions there. Three full floors, completely stocked with different stalls of curated, vintage and antique goods. From the outside, you'd never know how big the space is. Like any antiques store, I'm sure it can be hit or miss. They probably have new things arriving every day. Some of the stalls were very reasonably priced, while others were a bit expensive. They had a lot of affordable wall art and paintings which was fun to see. There is really something for everyone to see here. We spent about 1.5 hours, we could've spent more if we really took our time. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. While deliberating over the purchase of a sweater as a gift for someone else, they casually discussed another similar-colored one they'd seen elsewhere. But instead of helping them decide between the two or just saying nothing (because that's what sales people are supposed to do), the employee said, "Then you should just go there." The couple left. So did I. But not before listening to the employee disparage the elderly couple, make fun of some woman's choice of holiday movies, and complain about the challenges of being 30. So if you're keen on a shopping experience with a bunch of hyper privileged white women judging you and being privy to possibly the most annoying conversation ever, come here! But if you're anything like me, don't. Too bad too, cause I probably would've bought something.
