It's a little spicy but even I could handle it. We sat at a booth inside the air conditioned restaurant today. Food is brought to you with reusable silverware. There is nothing fancy about the presentation but it was a full plate of food and it was full of flavor. I brought some of it home and my wife tried it the next morning and was blown away at how good it was. I've eaten at plenty of gyros places here, and the quality of gyros meat here is the WORST I've ever had. Ever! Bought two, threw them out after eating half of one. Our favorite is Greek Pita's pink garlic sauce (for comparison). The tzatziki sauce was on point though! Dill flavor was good. Not too much but you can definitely taste it in every bite of the gyro. Generous portions. Especially the side of fries! I love my fries and the fries here at Pita Kitchen are AMAZING! Crunchy exterior and potatoey fluff on the inside! Quite possibly my favorite fries. I'm definitely coming back for more! Service: We ordered for takeout on a Wednesday afternoon. There was only one family eating inside when we arrived. It was about $25 for my wife and I. She wasn't particularly hungry so that's why she ordered the kids meal. But food came out within 5 minutes with napkins, utensils and packaged up nicely with solid meal-prep containers; not just cheap styrofoam. Ambiance: The entire place has a good vibe. Clean for the most part. I did notice, while waiting for my food, there was some dusty wires hanging from the display screens overhead. Terrible customer service, period, and I'll never visit again. I ordered a salad with salmon and was still waiting after 30 minutes. When I asked about the status of my order, the response I received was shocking. The manager harshly responded that fresh food takes time. As an inquiring customer waiting, I simply wanted an update. I felt like he was giving me a justification of why they were taking too long. I requested crispy salmon and was told that's why it took longer and because it was fresh. After looking at the salmon, it was certainly not crispy. I ended up waiting over 35 minutes for a raw salad with a piece of salmon (not crispy). More than anything, the attitude of the manager is what stood out in a most negative way and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that is used to good customer service. We have been eating at this location since it opened!! We LOVE the food!!!! However, prices have increased far surpassing what is justified in my opinion. In addition, the portion sizes had decreased a lot. I used to get several meals out of one plate order (I don't eat a lot at one sitting) and now I have just a small portion leftover. There is not a lot of overhead nor many employees. It is a smaller sized location, so I compare the overhead costs of a large restaurant with dozens of employees whose food prices are similar when trying to justify the higher cost AND the smaller portions! One or the other would be expected, but not both. I do realize that most of this type of restaurant is charging more, but I would rather go to a sit-down restaurant and enjoy the experience AND the food for about the same cost. read more

We come to this place all the time! The service is amazing (today we were given a free chocolate milk for our screaming toddler) and the food is just as great. We always get the chicken kabob plates and it is always delicious. Everyone is super friendly, the restaurant is clean and even plays Christian music which we love! I was recently in the area and read the reviews for Pita Kitchen. I ordered a Gyro and Lentil Soup. The Gyro had a good portion of meat. The Gyro was large with adequate seasoning. The lentil soup was the star of the meal. It was tasteful with a little tang. It was one of the best lentil soups I have ever had. It is work returning for the soup. The only concern I had was the price. My total bill for soup, Gyro, and small soda was around $20. The restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. read more

First problem is the prices on the menu online have not caught up to the prices in the store. The $6.99 pita is now $8.49 and to make it a combo adds $4 now. My falafel was a hot, watery mess. They threw some wet cucumber salad and a horrible sesame sauce in my pita to go. The falafel itself were overcooked and burnt and the thing was a drippy disaster. While visiting AZ, my family and I stopped by Pita Kitchen to try some Greek fare as Greek food in Hawaii is limited. On the menu, Philly Pita, Kids Chicken Swarma, Side of Falafel, Side of Pita Chips with a cilantro hummus and steak sharma bowls. We decided to eat "in" so we walked up to the counter, placed our order, took a seat and food was delivered to our table. Counter person was extremely nice and helpful as we took a good 5 minutes to choose what we wanted to try (luckily there was no line at the time). I enjoyed the Philly Pita with Gyro. Pillowy pita and flavorful gyro. I enjoyed the side order of pita and hummus (pita interestly was deep fried with a crispy outside and chewy inside and the hummus was really yummy with a mixture of regular chickpea hummus with cilantro - definitely would recommend if you like cilantro). My niece and nephew enjoyed their steak shwarma bowls. Portions were good as they were able to combine their leftovers to take home for later.
