Ah man! I would've loved to have given this restaurant a higher rating, and based on the great…read morecustomer service and ambiance, I could have, but my chicken piccata fell incredibly flat. The chicken was so dry and hard that it tasted like it had been pre-cooked and rewarmed in the oven entirely too long. I was terribly disappointed and had to send it back. BE WARNED- this is the part that really BLEW me. Their payment machine doesn't calculate tips properly. My tab came up to $70. I tipped $15... it said that equated to 15% (which is actually over 20% of $70). The total should've been $85, but it then rang up as $89! That is super shady!!!! If you don't check your tabs, don't know how to calculate percentages properly, or even if you're like me and don't want to complain about a $4 difference, they are essentially getting over on you! How many people does this happen to? Imagine if every customer was overcharged an average of $5?!?!?! But... let me back up to the appetizer. We got crab claws. Those were delicious ~ the butter/cheese sauce they came in was rich and robust. This aroused my excitement for the remaining dishes; however, I was terribly disappointed. My mother got the halloumi salad. It lacked flavor. My green beans, which accompanied the chicken, were barely cooked. Although seasoned well, they were hard to enjoy because the ends were still on, so I was left pulling strings of rough edges out of my mouth each time I finished eating one. Maybe the chef was having an off day? I don't know...

I…read morewas always happy to visit Taste of Jerusalem, that is until the ownership change; it just not the same as it used to be! Anyway, we wanted Mediterranean food and decided to finally give In & Out a try. Boy am I glad we did. This place is fantastic! We ordered the In & Out Platter which serves two and includes steak, kufta, and chicken served over rice along with falafel, sides, and sauces. The kids had a chicken tender kid meal and a gyro wrap. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service is fine. You order at the counter and if you're eating in they will bring your food to you. They don't really provide full service, so if you need anything you'll probably need to go back to the counter to request whatever it is you need. But, overall it was fine. With regard to the dining environment, it is rather small with just a handful of tables. The decor is appropriate for the type of restaurant it is and they keep the place pretty clean. After finally visiting, I'm sure we'll be back. The food is definitely worth five stars!

The Greek meatballs and pita with humans (also in happy hour menu) were good, and a great value. I had the scamp with crab meat cream sauce, was outstanding but very rich. Pork meatballs with homemade pasta wasn't my cup of tea, but adult son was impressed. The veal Boca was great (healthy portion also), as was the chicken. The service was excellent. Very attentive and reasonable fast. The restaurant is a small venue, nicely decorated. A tad loud, but not a problem. The happy hour options makes eating at a very nice restaurant more affordable. Available 4-6 Tuesday to Thursday.

Cynthias Dessert was a White Chocolate dome filled with Peaches and mine was a raspberry filled cookie topped with champagne pearls. My Blood Orange Margarita and Cynthias Pensacolada made for a nice start to our Valentines Day experience. Highly recommended!
