They allowed my mom and her husband at the time to not let them take me to the hospital. Instead they allowed them just to tell me to walk it off. The new school felt like a prison at the time. "You *race* people always be doin' this [Insert remark about how this race negatively impacts others]." "You *race* people are why [Insert some remark about how everyone of this race negatively impacts others]. These types of statements have been used throughout the school, by staff/ teachers. A mixed race girl was sent away by staff involved in a race specific program, because she was "too white" (for being half white). I've also witnessed a male P.E. teacher accept flirtatious behavior from female students who did not have to engage in the P.E. activity, while keeping their good grades, as well as have him discuss his personal relationships with students. This was all before the remodel, so I don't know if it's the same staff.

I stay at school everyday until 5 and sometimes even up to 12am setting up for the Winter Ball dance. I also heard that Deer Valley is ghetto and dangerous. Well, it is not.
