We enjoyed our stay at Pixar Place Hotel. Even though we're Disney Vacation Club members, we stayed in a regular hotel room. The Pixar theming throughout the hotel is fun. There are so many little details and pieces of artwork featuring favorite Pixar characters and movies. My family enjoyed exploring the hotel and finding them. The room was clean, comfortable, and had decent amount of space for our family. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately work was being done to the rooftop pool. We had the option to go to the Grand Californian Hotel pool instead. They offered a shuttle. The location is convenient with an easy walk to Downtown Disney and the parks. A few weeks before we stayed they stopped the special entrance and early entrance. This was one of the bigger reasons we decided to book it. My brother and sister and law were staying at the same hotel and we decided to stay when we were notified of the change. Other Perks: - lightning lane for one ride. Does not include Cars. - Special rooftop viewing of the fireworks. - Special Pixar Characters - We saw Doug the dog. We also watched Joe Gardner perform from the movie Soul. Overall, Pixar Place Hotel was great. The combination of Disney Pixar magic, friendly service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location made for a memorable family vacation. Really enjoyed our stay here! We were greeted by Bing Bong when we arrived. We were able to take pictures and there wasn't a line. Very convenient and easy walk to the parks and Downtown Disney. They have a Disney store, restaurants, coffee area, kids play area, and a pool (it was closed during our stay). Our room gave a us a view of DCA. The employees were so friendly. Two cons: - we were told that we could watch World of Color from our room and we could turn the tv on a certain channel and it would sync up with the show. We were able to watch World of Color but the audio on the channel was just generic songs and not the audio from the actual show. - the WORST elevator system. They have 4 elevators and you have to pick the floor you are trying to get to and it tells you which elevator to get on. So coming down in the morning was awful because the elevator it told you to get on was would be full. So you would have to call another elevator and it would take forever for it to come and when it finally did, it was full again. We waited about 30 minutes before we realized you had to select a higher floor in order to go down. read more

First off, we were upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite, which was awesome. The room was great, very spacious, and having two bathrooms with a family of 5 worked out perfectly, especially being the only male in the group. Honestly, the room itself is the main reason this review even gets two stars. Going up to the room was no problem at all. The elevators were quick and easy. Going back down was a completely different story. The elevators are tiny, and if you're staying on a middle floor like we were (9th floor), expect to wait for multiple elevators because they're constantly full. I'd say there was about a 70% chance they were packed every time. Checkout day was even worse. We pushed the lobby button, got assigned Elevator A, waited, and it was full. Pushed again, got Elevator A again, waited again, and same thing. Another family walked up, pushed the button, got Elevator D, and took it even though we had already been waiting. We also had club level access, which comes with free food and drinks. There's probably a reason the food is free. We only did breakfast, and honestly I could've skipped it. It was 95% carbs, and there really weren't many options if you're trying to avoid carbs or are diabetic. The hard boiled eggs somehow had a weird plastic texture to them, and I could only eat half of one. The one positive there was the coffee machine, which was actually really cool. One thing I will say is the staff throughout the hotel were always friendly, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. read more

I haven't stayed here yet but I always watch fireworks here. Everyone can go to the floor with the pool. There were a bar and fireplaces. You can drink and eat some foods there. When Disneyland has fireworks, you can see it from there with music. It is very nice place to relax and watch fireworks. The hotel lobby is decorated with Pixar animation. Visited and walked through as a non hotel staying guest. I heard that they had a "Hoppers" exhibit since the movie is out in theaters. It's walking distance from Downtown Disney on the side closest to Din Tai Fung. You have free reign to just walk in and enjoy the facilities and visitors have access to the second floor. LOVE all of the attention to detail, great for any Pixar fan. The Luxo Pixar ball walkway lights outside, the little Wall-E next to the fire extinguisher, and all of the art and decor. You can also meet some characters here like Wall-E and Eve and Bing Bong. Super neat. Definitely stop by the second floor foyer area, even without a seasonal limited exhibit, the decor for the classic Pixar characters is impressive. But if you do catch the "Hoppers" exhibit, it's perfect if you're a fan. Lots of concept art, story boards from the movie, how they made the movie, the research they did, lots of art to look at, sculptures of the characters, and much more. Stayed at Disneyland Pixar Place for the first time. Walking into the lobby was super cute where you see the giant Pixar lamp. Entire lobby is decorated with hidden Pixar friends. Rooms are a decent size but a bit smaller compare to surrounding hotels that I've stayed at. Bed is comfy. Room is clean! Shower door does have a gap with no protection strip to cover it so the bathroom floor got kind of flooded. Used about 4 towels just to clean it up. Overall I would love to stay again but price will keep me from staying there. But it was a great first time experience. Staff were super friendly. read more

Probably not. Recommend? Yes We stayed hoping it would be the kind of experience where we couldn't wait to come back. My family and I stayed at Pixar Place 1/3/2026. It was the perfect time because it was their slow season and they have their Christmas decorations still up. Pixar Place is directly across from DCA and Grand Californian. As a matter of fact, if you are in the higher rooms, you can see the water show at night as well as the firework show. Sadly, today was next to the last day that Disney is having early entry for hotels guests. The entry through the side of Grand Californian is now shuttered. Service here is 10/10. Check in was amazing. We had the club room with a designated concierge check in area. They sent down a concierge to personally walk us to the lounge. Wow! We came in at 10am and while the room wasn't ready because I chose to upgrade to a high floor with the view of DCA, they let us hang out at the lounge. Plus after we checked out the next day at 11am, they let us use the lounge until 1pm! The lounge is small. It was a bit of a letdown. The food offerings were subpar. They did have soda in a fridge. I expected more from a Disney lounge. Even though it was a slower time for them, on weekends the lounge was packed. The problem is they didn't plan for it. For dinner they had a potato bar. They ran out of Potatoes and subbed Tater Tots. What?? Then they ran out of that 20 minutes before the end and my teenagers were hungry. If they are like this on a slow day, I hate to see what it's like in the summer. This is where service might've been better. I mentioned this in a QR code provided at every floor asking how they were doing. No answer. They sent an automated email after my stay. No one from Disney reached out. Hence the 4 stars. The room was clean and spacious for 5 people. The theme in the room was Toy Story related. The beds were comfy. Amenities provided were great. I needed slippers and they responded quickly. The pool was amazing as well. Beware they have tight security getting in. They check you in and put a wrist band on for your stay. It's not the biggest pool but the slide is fun. They have yard games also by the pool. Bing bong walks around the hotel which is a highlight. Also they have a pianist who plays jazz music in the lobby. It's not like the Grand Californian lobby but it's ok. It has more of a hotel feel than a resort. I would stay here again! read more

Honestly I was extremely Impressed with our stay at Pixar place hotel! The room was extremely clean and the best was probably the most comfortable bed that I have slept in at any hotel. Just a quick walk to the parks this is at an ideal location. We accidentally left out magic band chargers in the room and we were able to easily stop by the next day to snag those. When visiting the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, there are many of options both on and off the Disney property. With this stay, I now have stayed on every on Disney property hotel. I wish I could say I saved the best for last, but I was disappointed compared to the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel. Likely a one and done stay for me. Here is a list of the pros and cons to this Disneyland hotel property: Pros: - Own entrance to Disney California Adventure across the street that enters near Corn Dog Castle - Firework viewing on floor 3 with music synced - Door entry key on Disneyland mobile app - Ability to check in/out on Disneyland app Cons: - Entrance to Disney California adventure is only open to 12pm, but can exit all day - No room service like Disneyland hotel - No amenities like a dental kit that I've received at both the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel - Limited dining on property that is lackluster (both ran by Great Maple) - Price point (not worth $600+/night) - No shuttle stop for RunDisney event - Early entry is sunsetting in January 2026, so the small perks of staying on property are diminishing Overall, my stay at Anaheim Majestic Garden have been similar to this stay to be completely honest, at 1/3 of the cost. I actually prefer the dining at Anaheim Majestic Garden, though I will admit the quality of the room at Pixar Place was much better. The theming is nice, but I much prefer the Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian Hotel if wanting an on property hotel experience. read more

Visited last week and thought they did a nice job of updating it. It is filled with cute Pixar themed decor now and sometimes a Pixar character is walking around, who you can take pictures with. Everything was so cute and I loved the Christmas decorations. The beds are still comfortable and there is a good amount of space in the room. I like that they added a coffee shop. It opens at 6 and it is nice to find coffee before heading to the parks. My go to was a cold brew with vanilla and oat milk. Very delicious! They have some eats too - fruit, pastries, goodies. All of them looked good. We did not try the actual restaurant but the menu looked good. It is about a 10 minute walk to get to the monorail and about 15 to the front gates of both parks. Try to enter downtown Disney through the Grand California or there are two security gates located near the Disneyland hotel. My only gripes are the elevators are still slow and they are getting rid of the hotel perks which were my reasons to stay. The Pixar only path to California Adventure and the advantage of early entry, which allows you to get in the parks 30 minutes before everyone else, will not be a thing starting next year. It is a bummer because they both were very helpful. Hopefully they will be rewarding guests with something else. Overall I enjoyed my stay. read more

We stayed at this hotel last week for 3 days and 2 nights. My husband has never stayed on Disneyland property and this was a real treat for our family. My husband is a property manager for commercial buildings and knows what it takes to run a building. The rooms, itself, were nice, a tad small, but doable. We had a premium room view where we could see the back of DCA. The rooms were clean for the most part invisible areas, but was dusty in the areas that are not super visible Other issues we had were with housekeeping not coming one day after being asked as were leaving after a break to the parks if we wanted cleaning and we said yes but they never came back. The other issues was the elevators calling system broke twice while there. We never found the stairs and took us 20-30 minutes to get to our floor. It was crazy! The pool was okay. Not what i expected and super small and got crowded fast with 3 or 4 families in it. Not sure if we would splurge to come back or go to a good neighbor hotel. It would was nice being able to cut through grand Californian hotel. read more

Came by today to see Wall-E and Eve during their debut in the month of April for earth month. Get parking validated at the maple restaurant. The meet and greet line is maybe 1 hour or more but if you want just a quick photo, you can do that at the front of the line. They are there 9am to 3pm on Wednesday only in April. read more

This was my maiden voyage staying at the Pixar Place Hotel and I honestly was pouting a bit before coming on property, having been "spoiled" by staying at the original property hotel on many occasions. However, once my BFF and I arrived on the Pixar property ALL of that instantly faded away. As soon as you walk into the hotel you are greeted by the friendliest staff. This continued throughout our four day stay. From the front desk, to security, to housekeeping, to pool staff...EVERY single one of them is kind, gracious, engaging, and makes you genuinely feel special and welcomed for staying at their hotel. The rooms are beautifully Pixar themed and have so many wonderful touches that just made me happy to discover. All rooms are themed the same and I loved that we even had the Pixar Lamp in our room! Each floor when the elevators open reveal a beautiful mural of a Pixar movie. These range from Finding Nemo, to Soul, to Turning Red, to The Incredibles. This is such a lovely touch. Speaking of elevators, outside of each of the four elevators is a console where you enter the floor you wish to go to and it then tells you which elevator to go to. This is a very nice feature for those who don't want to have to worry about little Johnny wandering into an elevator and pressing all of the buttons. The pool area and gaming area on the third floor is beautifully designed and has many different areas for families, couples, or even singles to enjoy. Another bonus about staying at the Pixar place is the close proximity to the entrance of Downtown Disney or crossing the street and entering through the Grand Californian. Either is easy and convenient. My ONLY request is please please please place bathrobes in the rooms for guests to use. This would be the cherry on top for this lovely property. First time booking here at Disneyland resort! Very pleased with the staff, the cleanliness & not crowded at all. The only downfall I had was upon checking in I only had a balance $886 due but when I checked my bank I was charged $1515 w/ my debit card ($250 hold + other fees) that were not stated upon checking in but a few days later I got the remaining funds released. I was told paying with credit cards are more lenient with fees than it is with debit cards... but happy to have that resolved now. Pixar putt... highly recommend! read more

Pixar Place Hotel is my new favorite hotel at Disneyland now that they've made all the updates and it's officially been rebranded as this updated cool pixar spot. Though the rooms aren't incredibly magical, they do have some Disney touches. The artwork in the room is all Pixar and the singular themed throw pillow had Toy Story bright blue, red & yellow vibes. But really, theming is minimal in the rooms. Outside of me being a Disney freak and wanting a more Disney-fied room, it had other nice touches like a full range of coffee for the single cup maker. Elevators getting up to the rooms can have a long wait depending on the time of the day & season, too. The common areas of the hotel are super cool and I like the theming. Pixar Shorts being featured in their courtyard (Pixar Shorts Court) made my heart so happy! Justice for Bao! Really nice area to hang out on the 3rd floor, especially on fireworks nights. On this deck, Disney plays a live synchronized broadcast and viewing of the pretty fire sky art. Then in the mornings, it was so cool to wake up and have Dug from Up taking photos in the lobby! He was so freaking adorable. Walkability to the parks is a huge perk of this hotel - very easy to walk to the Downtown Disney District. More importantly though, you have your own path & access to the Disney California Adventure Park with a kind of hidden entrance. Obsessed. Like any real estate, this is all location~location~location. Ya girl likes convenience. This in mind, it's not cheap and I'm not entirely sure it's worth $500 minimum a night. I mean...it's not, haha, so if you want to go, just know you are paying a premium for it being Disneyland. It's contemporary, it's bright colors & fun for kids, it's not as ritzy as the other Disney hotels - however the price is usually $300 minimum difference to Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian PER night - so it's well worth the savings to stay here. read more

We stayed at Pixar Hotel for 4 days with club level. It was so worth it! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the lounge was amazing and the cast members were very friendly and helpful. I would say this hotel is in the middle of Disneyland and California Adventure. It was less than a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney and you can catch the monorail to Disneyland. It is also about 5 minutes walk to the "secret way" to California Adventure but bummed that it was only open between 8-12pm. (I heard they are doing away with it next year though, which is another bummer) The little details in this hotel is too cute!! The hotel is well maintained. There is lots of things in this hotel that you don't really need to get out to look for something. The pool is family friendly and includes a water slide and jacuzzi. Did I mention the pool is heated?! There is also a bar, cafe, restaurant, and a mini golf (which you need to pay). I would give this a 5 star if the elevators weren't so confusing. The elevators do not have floor numbers to push inside the elevator. You would have to choose your floor number before you get in and it tells you which elevator to go to. Sometimes it takes you to the wrong floor. At one point, it took soooo long that a sweet worker offered to take us down to the floor we needed on their elevator (thank you so much!!) We recently stayed at Pixar Place Hotel and had such a magical experience! The Pixar theming throughout the hotel is so fun and nostalgic!! Each floor is themed after a different Pixar movie, and the details are everywhere. Pay attention to them, trust me! We stayed in a premium room with a beautiful view of the back of DCA, which made it feel like we were in on a little secret part of the park. It was so fun seeing World of Color from our window and seeing cars driving through the park in the early morning! Our room was clean, comfy, and had a mini fridge (a lifesaver for baby bottles and snacks). Upon request, the hotel provided a pack n play for our baby, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Even though my baby boy is 4 months old, they gave him a little activity book for the memories! He even got his "First Visit" pin there! Truly a memorable experience for me for him. We loved the hotel amenities and how short of a walk it is from Downtown Disney, Disneyland and the super short cut to DCA (which we did not utilize). The Sketch Pad Café opens at 6am (early coffee or matcha= YES please)! They even play Disney shorts as you sip on your morning cup and/or eat a small breakfast. Great Maple is also located inside Pixar Place. I recommend making a reservation through the Disneyland app. There's also a smaller restaurant called Small Bytes by the pool on the 3rd floor, which also has outdoor games and movie nights on select evenings. Bonus: guests can watch Disneyland fireworks from a designated viewing area at 9:35 PM! And if you're lucky, you might catch Joe Gardner from Soul playing piano in the lobby. Bing Bong makes appearances too, but we missed him this time! Cons? Definitely the parking. They have "small car only" spots, but let's be honest... most people aren't rolling up to Disney in a compact car. The spaces are tight, and it's $40/night. But the absolute WORST part? The elevator system!!! It's overly complicated! It's just frustrating when you have your day planned out and the wait for it takes what feels like forever; especially if you're on a pretty high floor. Front desk also didn't inform us how the elevator system works. You basically click on your floor and make sure you pay attention to which letter elevator is mentioned on the screen because there are no floor numbers inside the elevator. Plan for at least 30 extra minutes if you have to get anywhere on time. Overall, we had a magical stay and would return, but here's hoping they give the elevator system a rethink. More magic: early entry is included in your stay. I recommend checking online which days coincide with which park before you make a reservation to go in. If you have early entry to Disneyland, only hotel guests can take the monorail. For DCA, cut through Grand Californian from the front entrance of Pixar Place Hotel. read more

So from a hotel perspective and customer service level, 10 stars. From an elevator standpoint, -6 stars. I don't want to go into the hotel and customer so much because it's great and worth experiencing for yourself, I do want to talk about the elevator. Each elevator has different floors it visits and can take a few minutes to reach your final destination. Here's the issue, it's not incompetent proof. By that I mean if someone needs a certain floor and hits a button, if they don't leave the buttons alone and keep hitting buttons it reconfigures the mechanics in the elevator and just resets the elevator from visiting the floor. During fireworks on floor 3 (which was fantastic by the way) there was 50 idiots pushing buttons and screwing up completely how these elevators are suppose to work. It took 45 minutes to get back to our room and only because we took an elevator down and then another one up. Like I said if they can idiot proof the elevator, easy 5 stars. read more

We had amazing celebration experience while stay at the Pixar Place hotel! 10/10 would recommend for family's and couples and friend groups! The cast members are so incredibly kind and helpful. Warm and welcoming all hours of the day! We also stayed club level and LOVED all the amenities and snacks through the day! They were so prompt to offer anything and everything to make your day better. My ONLY complaint is about the slow elevators, but just be patient! Such a fun themed hotel and a great pool area! We just ended our stay here. We used to live in CA before we had kids so this was our first stay not being CA residents and having small children with us. We had a standard 2 queen bed room. We were on the 9th floor and had a view of CA Adventure. We were able to see World of Color at night pretty ok! We did ask for a microwave for our room and they brought us one. There was a mini fridge area in the room as well. We didn't use the pool but it's just a basic pool. They do have a splash pad type area. I kind of wish we had brought swim gear so our kids could have played there on arrival day. It's a quick walk to Grand Californian for early hotel access to the park and a quick walk to downtown Disney. We did utilize the monorail once to go from Disney to Downtown Disney to get to the room quicker. The hotel was nice but we didn't explore much of it. We did see Bing Bong a few times in the middle of the day. Everyone was super friendly. The elevator system is a little wonky. We didn't encounter too many issues as others previously mentioned. Disney opened this place in 2024, right across the street from Grand Californian, where we normally stay. My 9 year old son insisted on staying here. The place is modern, clean, and fun. The rooms are spacious and bright. The room decor is modern, minimalistic, but still oozing the Pixar charm. You can still cross the street and use the private entrance at Grand Californian. We have stayed at all the Disney Hotels properties. I have to say the least, this property wasn't my favorite. On a good note, we do love all the perks and great service provided. This hotel was formerly called Paradise Pier Hotel. I've stayed there prior and definitely the upgraded theme is a huge improvement. I had booked our room with the club level status where you are able to visit the Creator Club indulging yourself with snacks, drinks, food, desserts, and much more. It's absolutely worth paying the extra amount with your room rate. Since we are Magic Key Pass holders, we were able to get a 25% discount which made a difference. The best part of it all, we were able to take whatever we pleased to go. Since my son is on the spectrum it was more convenient for our family to take snacks and food while enjoying it in the room. Vee Jay and Martha went above and beyond to provide great customer service in the Creator Club. Super friendly enhancing our stay. Best part of it all, they served alcoholic beverages at no additional cost. It was much needed especially handling two kids on my own. Deeya at the front desk was extremely helpful upon check in. My daughter received a special Pixar string backpack and other magical perks for her birthday. Truly a memorable experience. The hotel is nice and clean including our room with comfortable beds. The decorations felt like we were in a Toy Story movie or one of Pixar creations. We had an incredible view of Disney California Adventure Park one unforgettable moment highlight of our trip. Down side of it all the pool was closed for maintenance , therefore we had to get transported to the Disneyland Hotel. Probably was better because the pool area looked small at the Pixar Hotel. We had more options at the Disneyland Hotel with three different pools to choose from and some fun slides. It worked out better in the end. I love the convenience of walking back and forth between the Disney Parks and hotel, especially when we were hungry The Creator Club saved the day. read more

I had a wonderful stay! I stayed here back when it was Paradise pier hotel and wanted to see the remodel. I had one night at Disneyland villas and then moved here one night. It was so convenient moving from one hotel to the next. I walked over with my bags very early before the parks opened and dropped my bags off at bell services. Everyone was very very friendly and accommodating. I headed to the parks and got a text around 130 my room was ready so I headed back to unwind. I got the most magical view looking over California adventure for the world of color show. I made sure I got back to my room around 8 ish to see the show. Truely magical! The bed was super comfy and everything was decorated so cute. The lobby is so cool, I saw bing bong and the piano player. I will def be staying here again. I was able to use my key card and cut through Grand Californian to get to the park and downtown Disney. read more

We loved our experience here. We just stayed this week and everything about it was wonderful. Our flight landed at 10am and lucky us, they had a room ready for us at 11am. So happy about that. Check in was a breeze! The most popular complaint I read on yelp are the ELEVATORS and the long wait times, so I called Pixar and requested a low room so we could just take the stairs on our way out to the parks if we ended up waiting too long at the elevators (we were put on the 6th floor). But that was never necessary. We were at Disney for many peoples Spring breaks, so it was busy, but we never waited more than 1-2 minutes for an elevator the entire 4 days we were there. It was awesome. We left early (7am) and came back late (after 10pm) so maybe it's not as busy during those times?! We rope drop and stay until after close, so if you're like us, maybe you won't have a problem either. The great maple restaurant was good, too. Great service and good dishes. I only wish they had more set times for when characters were going to be in the lobby. We never got to see any due to always just missing them. They give estimated times, so if you don't mind hanging out in the lobby for 30-40 minutes, you should be able to run into Bing Bing or Dug from Up! We loved Pixar Hotel and would for sure stay again. Great access to the parks. PS. My word of advice for those that are obsessed with early entry: the private entrance for Pixar guests is super cool, but it drops you into the park pretty far away from Avengers Campus (by corn dog palace). Everyone staying on site that did their early entry from the main DTD entrance all beat us to Guardians and it ended up being a 20 minute wait. Next time we'll just do early entry from the main DTD entrance to be closer to AC. The private entrance wasn't worth having to walk all the way to the rides that were open for early entry. read more

Way overpriced for what you get. The elevators move like they're on lunch break, so if you forget something in your room, just accept it's gone till later. The walls are so thin you can hear everything, so peace and quiet is not included in the resort fee. There's only one pool and splash pad and slide it's pretty small area I can only imagine summer time isn't fun . The food options were rough too especially by the pool. Meanwhile at Disneyland Hotel you can get fries, wings, and actual good food, not sad snack bar disappointment. Honestly, if you've stayed at the Grand or Disneyland Hotel before, this place is gonna humble you real fast. It can be hit or miss, but for these prices why gamble? Disneyland Hotel is never hit or miss. Im always happy staying there, so save yourself and book that instead. read more

This review is for the Pixar Putt miniature golf experience inside the Pixar Place Hotel... We had so much fun at the Pixar Putt miniature golf. We enjoyed all of the great theming from so many great Pixar movies. Some the holes were unrealistic of actually hitting the golf ball through the theme of the hole. We did however enjoy the different ways of maneuvering the golf ball in a variety of ways (ex: Soul and Inside Out). The experience made for great fun and fun pictures. The lighting in the banquet room however was very dark, blue or red which made it difficult for taking great pictures. The elevators are very high tech, unfortunately they take forever and are very small. I mean forever. The pool is the size of a postage stamp. Cabanas are very expensive and there is no attendant. You have to get your own drinks and food in another building. The pool staff just stand around and talk with each other. (Except for the lifeguards who are very good). The staff are generally friendly and there are lots of them. Self parking is $45.00 per day, but i'ts conveniently located just behind the hotel. There is no bar service available between 2:00 and 5:00 pm. Not sure why. This hotel is not worth the money. Stay somewhere else. read more

First time at this hotel and it was a fantastic experience. The service was top notch as good as any high class hotel I have been to. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Parking was a breeze and we were here the last day one could get early entrance at 730 into DCA from the Pixar guest entrance. It was so weird seeing all the people lined up for rope drop while we were walking through the park. We were able to go on the Incredi coaster and Guardians before 8. We upgraded our room for $10 for a view of DCA which was quite unique. It was drizzly, but we still went to the pool area and down the crush the turtle themed water slide. We also hung out in the lounge which is a great place to eat and hang out in. Though checkout was at 11, we still had access to the lounge until 1 so we hung out in the park until around 12 and since it was raining we went over and hung out to eat, rest, and dry out in the lounge. Incredible! The Most pleasant, informative and helpful staff. Decor is Impressive and Everywhere; from huge images and murals (check every floor!) to small character images on the flooring and in elevators. Atrium with HUGE "Luxo Jr." lamp and ball with 'star' logo is Very impressive. But also look UP (;-) for suspended mobile of Pixar characters above! The 2nd floor around it is a Gallery featuring art from the most-recently released Pixar film and open to the public (we plan to return to see makings of "Toy Story 5" this summer. The "concierge" elevator system takes some getting used to, but I'm sure is more efficient and having 4 elevators helps - DO ride in the 1 separate on the E side of hallway - it has window art from "Up"! View of ALL of CA Adventure Park (and most of Disneyland to the North) from the 'Premium View' room window (East-facing, so DO pull drapes overnight or morning comes early and BRIGHT!) IS Worth the $$$! (audio accompaniment of "World of Color" show there plays on TV channel, so you can see And hear it from your room and yes! TV has Disney+). Room is fine for 2 but a bit tight for more. Sofa IS an actual bed, with a thin-ish mattress and bedding available inside - easy to set up. Great Maple Modern American Eatery was Wonderful; bacon-centric dishes, get the meatloaf or BLT! .. and their donuts! sharing one is quite filling. Stor-E was larger and much better-stocked than expected, with an excellent selection without going to Downtown Disney or into Parks to get souvenirs, toys, shirts... also can order unique artwork prints there. View Disneyland's fireworks show from the 3rd floor, N end of the pool area, look above & between the palm trees. They also pipe in there the audio accompanying that show - Disney thinks of Everything! read more

Ambiance Bright colors pops as u come in. Customer Service Disorganized as u approach registration desk, chaos. Not really a line. Staff friendly. Rooms very nice, had great night view to park. Nice pool, fun outdoor games to play. The elevators are confusing. U specify the floor u want then u r assigned elevators A, B, C or D. During rush time is it a mess. Bing Bong greets people in lobby. Overall a great place to stay. Can walk to Downtown Disney and Disneyland. read more

This was our very first time staying at Disney's Pixar Place Hotel, and we couldn't have been more impressed. I came with my fiancé and our four month old baby, and after years of booking outside hotels, this experience has completely changed the game for us. From now on, we'll be saving up to stay within the Disneyland Resort. Formerly Paradise Pier, Pixar Place has been beautifully renovated and reimagined. The transformation is stunning. Every corner of the hotel is filled with Pixar charm and attention to detail. From the vibrant lobby to the themed artwork and subtle design touches, the entire atmosphere is immersive and joyful. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff made us feel right at home with their friendliness and warm energy. The lobby offers tons of seating and cozy waiting areas, which was perfect with a baby. We also loved the convenient dining options with food on the ground floor, and another spot on the 3rd floor near the pool that was both fun and delicious. There is also a small convenient/ merchandise store on the1st floor also. Speaking of the pool.. it's huge! There was plenty of space for everyone, from families with young kids to larger groups, and it was such a great way to unwind after a long park day. Our room was spotless and beautifully themed, with an incredible view of California Adventure. The water pressure was strong, and hot water stayed hot (something we really appreciated after long days walking the parks). One small thing to note is the digital elevator system. You select your floor on a touchscreen, and it assigns you an elevator. It's modern and efficient, but can get a little frustrating during peak hours when guests are constantly pressing buttons across all panels. While this hotel isn't cheap, the convenience, cleanliness, and Disney-level detail absolutely justify the price. We loved having easy access to the parks and not worrying about transportation or long walks from an outside hotel. Huge shoutout to the staff! Every single person we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. There's also plenty of garage parking, which made arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. We're already looking forward to our next stay. Pixar Place Hotel made our trip even more special! read more

Excellent hotel with excellent views of California Adventure! The dedicated entrance into the park is amazing and it's a shame that it's being removed in 2026. The theming of the hotel is beautifully done and there are so many small details everywhere you go. Exclusive character meetings are a wonderful treat! My ONE complaint is about the elevator systems. Good in theory, terrible in execution. Just install a button that lets the 4 elevators be called individually, rather than pressing one button, being told "Okay go to elevator C" and then having 50 other people ALSO be sent to elevator C, making it a nightmare to get to your floor. At the end of a very long park day under a California sun, just let us control what floor we go to from INSIDE the elevator. Add floor buttons inside the elevators, and add MORE ELEVATORS. Just having 4 elevators is NOT ENOUGH. read more

New hotel situated close to the Disneyland parks. What makes this hotel different is that it has everything related to Pixar films, from the lobby paintings to room decor. There's a lot of little touches too, such as the Pixar lamp inside the hotel room. The hotel itself, is bright and cheerful. Staff is friendly and if you need extra towels or toiletries, they will bring it to your room. The room itself is spacious for two, but a bit crowded for four adults. There's ample space under the bed to store luggage and bathroom is spacious. There's a little area for coffee and a mini fridge. A bonus that they have a full length mirror outside the bathroom and the bathroom mirror is bright, decently bright for make-up application. It visually appears technology forward with panels you touch for light inside your room. The elevators to your floor was also suppose to be innovative, but it wasn't necessary to have different elevators and different buttons etc. There's a Pixar Store and the Sketch Pad Cafe at the lobby area. The roof top has games, a pool, hot tub, and a splash pad play area which kids love. The biggest positive was the short walking distance to California Adventure and the Disneyland parks. read more
