Its easy to see why scott and melissa are the go to in their industry. The studio is picture perfect in sunny seaside carlsbad and well worth the drive for people like me who live in OC. There are various vintage sets to create a multitude of scenes and poses for whatever you're thinking whether it be super sweet or super fetish. Scott's use of lighting and coloring is definitely a specialty and very very cool. Melissa is an expert at directing you how to pose- if you have zero experience you will come out of there feeling like you had a professional shoot of a paid model. They are both super down to earth warm people and fantastic to be around for a few hours. No need to be shy or freaked out they make it all work effortlessly. She has a studio at her home with plenty of snacks while you do your sessions. It's also heated for those chillier winter months. The props she has are amazing and add a lovely style to her photos. I met Audrey Christmas before last when…read moreshe generously volunteered her time photographing pets with Santa for our mutual vet, The Drake Center. All proceeds went directly to one of our local shelters that does amazing work helping pets find homes. She held a drawing for families who brought their pets in for a full photo session and our family was one of the lucky winners. We had our full family (two leggeds and four leggeds) photographed with her a few months later and it was truly an amazing experience. Audrey's professionalism and talent are beyond compare, but what really made her stand out in my mind was her ability to "read" our family and capture us just as we are. An example of this is our youngest daughter, who can tend to be a stinker when she's nervous or out of her element. Audrey was completely patient with her and waited until she was able to relax enough to be photographed. We weren't rushed in any way - she took her time and got some amazing shots of our girls, our pets and our whole family. I have come to love Audrey, not only for her professional talent, but for her personality and spirit. She is wonderful to work with but even better to know.
