They do light options for their pizzas and pastas which come with a smaller portion of pizza or pasta with a side salad. They have the calories for these printed on the menu which is very helpful when trying to watch what you eat. The margarita pizza light option will only set you back 444 calories and it was the perfect size for me and tasted delicious. We had the same waiter both times. He was very friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home straight away.

I had the ribs, which were enormous! Didn't think the sauce was barbacue though, it tasted more like plum sauce, but really good nontheless. White chocolate cheesecake for dessert a must try! This was mostly down to the attitude of the waitress who, once she discovered that we didn't want wine and were only there for a medium sized meal, decided to adopt the stereotypical passive aggressive attitude that unfortunately is so common in towns as opposed to cities. For some reason she identified me as being the criminal in the operation and so directed all questions to my mum (who was dining with me). For example, when asking how the meal was she stood behind me so that I had to bend around nearly 180 degrees to give her my answer. I was met by her staring right past me as if to dismiss my opinion or anything I said. I have a long standing connection with Maidstone in Kent and would never live there ... and I will *always* walk straight past Pizza Express. My advice: Go down the road to ZIzzis instead.
