Amazing Italian Food and great service !…read more We are vegetarian and ordered the Pizza Bianca and the Rossi. Both the pizzas were delicious, some of the best we have eaten. Paired with really good Wines as well. Would highly recommend this place. The icing on the cake was the outstanding Tiramisu for dessert. Definitely worth a visit while in Istanbul

This restaurant is located just off the street in the old section of Istanbul. My personal favorite is to dine at one of their outdoor tables, which is situated right along the street. You can truly take in the atmosphere of the city from this position. They also have a very nice interior dining experience. If you choose to sit inside, the doors are generally open, so you still get all of the air and and the ambience while remaining someone protect from the elements. Their food, as their name implies, focuses on pizza and pasta dishes. The pizzas are very good. I truly recommend them. There's several options to choose from and I'm sure you'll be able to find something that answers your specific desires. They also have the expected, soft drinks, beer, wine, plus they offer a truly nice selection of cocktails. My wife always goes for one of those more fruity drinks, and she truly enjoys their Mojito. Overall, great dining experience. It's casual, it's fun, and the food taste very good Recommended!

While the prosciutto, dried tomatoes and walnuts were a great addition to the arugula, the salad was drowned in vinegar and buried under a disproportionate amount of cheese. As for the pizza, it was plain and the sparsely sprinkled fresh basil, barely-there tomato sauce or not-no-spicy olive oil did not really stand a chance against all the cheese. The service was very friendly and I liked the atmosphere sitting in a comfy chair tucked away in a corner upstairs. This place offers breakfast and is a coffee hangout during the day. Prices are very reasonable.

Service was unfriendly - three different servers and none greeted us, none made eye contact. Within the hour, three glasses fell from a waiter's tray near us, one of them shattering and bouncing up onto a table where people were eating, but no one offered to replace their meals. The food here is mediocre. Nothing memorable. We ordered rice (twice) and the second time were told they were out. Meat had little flavor. They made a drink that was good, and we ordered a second one that was terrible. Bartender shift change, and the second one just made things up (wrong liquor, wrong flavoring). We left it on the table after a sip and instead of taking the charge off the menu, the waiter replaced it with a drink that was marginally better (still the wrong liquor). Go around the corner to Nisantasi Baskose, where the menu is pretty much the same, the food is 3x better, the service 5x better and it's a quieter atmosphere, at the same price.
