I had to wait 1h30 for my delivery to arrive and when it arrived the food was of such poor quality that I ended up throwing it away.

Amazing dinner at ABP last night for 6 person group. The 5 course tasting menu for 95 euro is a…read morebargain. It's way more than 5 courses and the food is exquisite and voluminous in aggregate. Service was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable (especially of wines, cheeses, and dish ingredients). They were very accommodating of group member who is no fish/seafood. The service did miss the mark in a couple of places (no bread plates throughout meal so we were literally eating our bread and cheese off the table when we didn't have an entree plate, no wine parings, and sommelier was knowledgeable but a little bossy.). ABP does require an uphill hike or drive "up the hill" (it's not in the heart of town) but well worth it and an excellent experience!!!

We asked to see if they can be expeditious with getting our courses out. She acknowledged our request and we thought the restaurant would be mindful of that. We ordered the 7 course tasting menu. We sat down at 7pm. At 10pm we had just gotten 4 courses! There was a large party that was getting preferential service. When we spoke with our server about the long wait, she didn't acknowledge that it was a problem. Instead, she apparently went to the chef to inform him of this and chaos ensued. When he came out into the dining room, we thought that he would apologize for the delay. What a shock it was that instead of doing so, he start loudly berating us in front of the entire dining room for not understanding how French restaurants worked and that we should not have ordered the tasting menu if we didn't expect to have to wait. He treated us like we were uncouth and ignorant. (Mind you that we have traveled all around the world and have been to innumerable Michelin starred restaurants). He was so aggressive that my husband was preparing to have to physically defend me. We wound up just paying the bill and leaving without finishing our meal. We have NEVER had an experience like this in any restaurant. It was disturbing and I felt UNSAFE and THREATENED by the chef. I would hope that the managers of this hotel/restaurant address this issue seriously. Do not come to this restaurant if you expect to be treated with respect. It does not matter what the food tastes like or the view that you have. What matters is the bad taste in your mouth when you leave here.

Sounds like perhaps they have heard the customers here and have learned from their mistakes. We walked in and were immediately greeted with a friendly Bonjour and a smile. We were so tempted by the pastries but we were headed to the brocante and so were responsible and got "real food" to hold our tummies over a little better. We shared a pressed ham croissant and man oh man..yummy! We will go back for pastry today!! Also can't help but mention their cakes. So smaller cakes for two and some larger decorated party cakes. Those seem to be a big part of their business because the case was full and waiting for pickups. Everything was so unique and nicely decorated, not a "cookie cutter" party bakery for sure. *Adding a photo on of dessert and a quick mention that service was excellent the second time as well as the tasty pastries!

They have a large variety of options that can really please a lot of people. Great chocolate options and fruit tarts as well. I ended up getting a praline croissant that tasted like they had just made it fresh from a bakery. It was sinfully scrumptious. The only thing I would recommend that they do to improve their croissants and other dishes are to make them pack better for transport.
Well, at least they know how to make macarons…read more Those were my thoughts as I ate the rose and orange macarons. A few minutes back the server had rolled her eyes as I changed my mind on the macaron selection, but I won't hold the service broadly at fault for the prior evening I'd been helped out patiently by a server with fluent command over English - rarity when that happens, and a quality I'm always grateful for in foreign lands. There's a broad selection of breads and baked goods, and while I liked the croissants and quiches, I rank them far higher as a patisserie. I really liked the Noisettine (hazelnut chocolate biscuit with milk chocolate mousse) that was recommended highly by the server. Also interesting was the Valencia (spiced biscuit with orange and chocolate mousse layers and dark chocolate). A Pougnier would be the one shop in Cornavin Geneva I'd repeatedly return to. They are a top notch bakery (4.5 stars)

I was in a rush and told the cashier to take them off and she had to get a manager to come by, what can you do but wait? At least I had water and juice and some disposable shavers but when I got back to my hotel, the peach Nectar tasted strange and sure enough, it had expired. Every fairy tale must close with a happy ending and every disaster must have a proper plot twist. I discovered that the disposable shavers i boight were also overpriced by 3 euros...
