A large 14" combo pizza for $29 including tax. Not cheap but I think a quality pizza runs about this much these days. Was this a hi quality pizza? Umm not to me. I would say a mid quality pizza. Crust was good though. Decent weight and toppings were enough barely. I felt like the ingredients were not fresh enough or the meats of higher quality . The pizza here is much more flavorful than other competitors. It's similar to a Roundtables, but without the dine in tables. I would say the other big difference is the exceptional service from the friendly staff. They have always been cheerful and moving quick with the orders. Though ordering with the app is a bit tedious in some spots (have to relog in twice), it's still a very useful tool for take out. Sends notifications via text or app showing the order being prepped and ready. This place is always clean, like super clean. Counters wiped down, and ingredients in their bins. A large pizza is around $22-25, so it's a bit higher than others. But the quality and taste is much better. read more

After my last review, the manager/owner reached out to me. He emphasized that they had no control over grubhub and their practices which is completely true. He explained that the best way to order was directly through Pizza Guys or their app. He even went to far as to offer to remake my order at no cost! I did not take him up on the offer. However I downloaded the app and explored it. Users can rack up points and special discounts when using the app. I decided to use the app about two weeks later. I ordered a different pizza to maintain my anonymity :) I have to report that the process was seamless. The app texted when the pizza was ready. And I got to enjoy a hot and super cheesy small pizza. I added the point of Dreyers because well, dessert. Try their pizza - it's fresh, it's real cheese and pretty damn good. Use the app for delivery AND pick up. My kids love this pizza and that's why we keep coming back but my review is more because of the sign of a free soda when you spend $30 or more if you pick up your food, yesterday I spent $46 Dollars and went to pick it up, and when I asked about the soda the guy stood there and checked my order and said no because you already ordered with a discount. well the sign on the door does not say anything about spend $30 without discounts it just says " free soda if you pick up and spend $30 or more so fix your sign or talk to your workers. read more

Have ordered at least a few times over the past year and the pizza has always been on point.

The staff were friendly, and the toppings were very generous, which we really appreciated. The pizza tasted great, and even my kids said it was delicious. The toppings and the sauce were wonderful. However, I think much more attention needs to be paid to hygiene when preparing the pizza. One thing that really concerned me was seeing the pizza being prepared without gloves. While talking to each other, you weren't wearing any food-prep masks, and after helping me at the register, you went back to handling the toppings with the same ungloved hands. That really shouldn't happen. Hair covers, beard covers, mouth covers, and especially proper gloves during food handling are absolutely essential. My kids enjoyed the pizza so much that they want to visit again, and I truly hope to come back. I sincerely hope you can improve your hygiene practices soon. read more

I've ordered from Pizza Guys for delivery and was impressed with the quality. Their large pepperoni pizza is generously topped and easily serves 3-4 people. I also tried the mango habanero wings -- they pack more heat than most places that advertise the same flavor, but the balance of spicy kick and sweet notes really works. Today, I decided to stop by the restaurant for takeout, and I'm glad I did. Pizza Guys has been around since the mid-80s, and you can tell they've perfected their craft. The food feels a step above the big chains -- in my opinion, it beats Pizza Hut and Domino's without question. A great local spot for pizza night. read more

Pizza Guys popped up on my Yelp feed a couple days ago and seeing that it was a pretty well known franchise in the OC area with great reviews, I had to try it out! Of course, with new locations for any establishment, it's really hard to know if the quality is good or not based on the reviews because friends and family usually write "fake" reviews which seems like the case here. There is also a recent review that stated they waited additional 30 minutes past the promise pickup time so I took that into consideration. I placed an order online for pickup at 10:09 AM with an estimated finish time at 10:29 AM. I arrived at 10:36 AM and was not acknowledged for a couple minutes. When I was finally acknowledged by one of the three people working front of house, one of the guys gave me an estimate of 5 minutes until my order is ready. There was no eye contact my way, no sort of update, or any additional acknowledgment. My order was ready for takeout at 10:52 AM. No apology or any form of discount/freebie was given. I noticed two guys walk in and out of the place a couple times and I jokingly asked how long they were waiting and it seems like they were waiting even longer than I have. There was a woman walking around that introduced herself as the marketing manager to the two guys and asked how they found the place and thanked them for stopping by. She clearly saw me sitting and did not even acknowledge me. That seems to be a trend here so it wasn't surprising. Anyways, I got a large combo pizza which was delicious and extremely generous with their toppings but the pizza was cold once I got home after a 5 minute drive. The sausage was not even cooked and the crust wasn't crispy at all. I also ordered their 8 PC buffalo wings with ranch dipping sauce. They forgot to give me ranch sauce and the wings itself were a little undercooked and had just a light coating of buffalo sauce. $45 for the two items is extremely outrageous given the poor quality of food prepared. Service is nonexistent, food isn't served hot, and they're not ready on time. It's clear that the people working at this location don't care about customer satisfaction. I will not be returning to give them a second chance even if my meal is on the house. read more

With Eureka Pizza closing up shop, we were desperately in need of a casual pizza place to call for takeout. If we're going out for pizza and having a more formal dinner at a restaurant, we're going to Terra all the way, but for casual take-out, Pizza Guys is our new fave! For 8 adults and a 7-year old, we ordered: 1) An Extra Large pizza with half Pepperoni and half Hawaiian. We asked for this to be double cut so people could try more pizza. 2) A Large Fireworks pizza which had red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage and jalapenos 3) A Creamy Pesto Artichoke flatbread pizza which had pesto sauce, mozzarella, artichoke hearts and diced tomatoes topped with basil seasoning 4) 12 boneless buffalo wings We had more than enough pizza and the big winner for me was the Creamy Pesto Artichoke flatbread pizza. This was truly special and I would 100% get it again. The rest of the pizza was great but I would get a different pizza than the Fireworks next time. I thought the Pepperoni and the Hawaiian were so much better. We ordered online and pick up was easy. They even gave us a free 2 liter soda...so nice! We'll be back! read more
