While it's a 10 minute detour from the highway, I could not recommend a better place. My partner and I started off with Mozzerella Sticks, to die for! While I'm not a fan of breaded Mozzerella sticks, these were coated and fried to perfection, with just the right amount of good quality cheese. For my main course, I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich (upon availability)... wow! The prime rib was so tender and although it came with horseradish cream, they put it on the side, thankful for that small touch! My partner ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which was crunchy and juicy, yet not greasy. The Buffalo sauce wasn't overbearing, it had the right amount of zing. The fries... some of the best. Our server was sweet, accommodating our request to sit on the patio with our pup. She made sure to give us a nice shaded table in the corner! The food came out quickly, which was appreciated as we have a few hours left on the road. I absolutely love the owners concept, two restaurants side by side, both with patio seating hosting views of the Snake River. Unlike most restaurants, you don't need to be on the patio to enjoy the same views. Each building has big windows with scenic tables, you can't go wrong choosing indoors or outdoors! To make it even better, they are adding campsites, trailer hookups, more cabins, kayak rentals and a wedding venue. A one-stop shop!
