I HATE their parking lot so I'd rather pay the extra fee to deliver BUT their excuse is no drivers showed up to work. As I'm writing this review, Ive been waiting 30 minutes for my wife. She's been inside in line waiting for our 2 New Yorkers we ordered 2 hours ago! Apparently, there are a bunch of people waiting for their carryout orders. I guess this isn't your ordinary day since it's Halloween. Yeah I guessI feel a little bad but shouldn't they know this is gonna be a busy day like the Superbowl? My wife said that a bunch of carryout orders were stacked up ready to be given out but none were for the many people waiting. The manager on duty at the time was not nice at all. You would think you take care of the customers who have been waiting but this wasn't the case. Nothing was wrong with the pizza and it was delicious. I think this Pizza Hut location deserves more stars because it's one of the only ones left on the island that still offers a buffet option for lunch and dinner, which we love!! We have ordered small orders from cashing in on my daughters' free personal pan pizzas coupons for her reading "Book It" ..to larger orders as in 10+ pizzas for parties, and they have always had great customer service and have been 100% reliable! So my family and I ordered our pizza at 6pm! We got confirmation that it would be delivered at 7:15 seemed kinda of a long wait, but we figured it's Valentines Day!! 7:20 gave Pizza Hut a little room because of rain and Valentines Day! 7:30 came around no call from store or email that order was being late! I contacted call center who told me that Kaneohe store would give me a call! 8:00 no call and I called the call center AGAIN!! I'm fuming right now! It's is now 9:53pm no pizza and just people stating that driver is on their way! For those of you who are wondering I had no vehicle and this was my only of getting food for my kids! Pizza hut, ive spent literally thousands of dollars on pizza in my life - most of it from pizza hut locations. Enough is enough. When I order a 2x pepperoni and a 2x cheese pizza, I'm not okay with your only topping my pizza with at best, 1x pepperoni toppings. I'm paying you for double, you should give me double. Regular toppings are placed 1/4 to 1/2 inch apart, extra toppings are placed adjacent, double are overlapping. You're literally not giving me what I paid for. No more will I overpay for sub par pizza. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Oh and tell the really tall girl(6') working the register to pull her pants up! As a guy who loves to eat pizza, Pizza Hut is a staple here. That being said each location is a little different. The buffets are also a hit or miss thing as well. In my personal experience this is probably one of the best on the island. The buffet, although not spectacular is pretty good in comparison to other locations. The variety is awesome and when I go to eat there I do get my moneys worth. I even try variations of pizza topping I would never get normally to see if I like them. What stands out in my opinion is the online ordering. I have ordered online numerous times and they always have it ready, if not earlier by the time they said it would be ready. Also the deals are really worth the costs. Never had any issues at any time with this location. This place is as good as your going to get for a Pizza Hut. read more

We don't really come here often but we heard that there was a buffet and was really hungry to try a "pizza buffet". To our suprise it was actually really good! Despite the low ratings this place has sadly. The customer service was really good and staff assured we were okay and if we needed anything occasionally. We thought we were late but we actually were the first ones there and when we asked if the buffet is open they opened it up for us in just a few minutes with everything hot N ready. Recommend going to this place again and a lot more for a fair decent price for a family of 3. 10/10 would recommend coming here for family dinners for everyone to enjoy! read more

This is a review on their carry-out service at the Kaneohe Kam Hy location,and not the restaurant. VERY DISAPPOINTED! We always used to order from the Koolau location, which had great service, and 2 minutes from our house, but they closed down a year ago, so we had to order from the Kam Hy location by default. We have had oily pizzas delivered from them before, but Papa Johns was closed in the Mall with Sunday hours, that we had no choice but roll the dice and order from the scary PH. I called to place an order for pick-up, and the person couldn't find the special, and had to place me on hold 3 times! He finally got his manager on , and she immediately knew of the Large New Yorker for 10.49. She was nice and said its an 8 piece pizza, but they could cut it in 12 pieces, and will be ready in 15 minutes. I said yes, thank you. I called Hubby, who was at Safeway across the street, and said he'll go there and wait for it. When he got there ( not even 5-6 minutes later) he was surprised it was already done. As he immediately came straight home which is a 4 minute drive, We were both hungry, I had the table all set , drinks in hand , and opened up to a ... COLD, COLD HARD Pizza!! Absolutely YUCKY! And the pizza was cut in uneven cuts, dried out, cold, they gave us no Parmesan cheese packets, but 10 pepper packets, we definitely questioned the "5 minute" readiness of the pizza. it definitely looked and tasted as if it sat there for an hour. I haven't dined in Pizza Hut for YEARS. I can't remember the last time. We met up with extended family and took up a long table on a Monday night. Our waitress (I wish I knew her name) was great...tall, local girl (in case her Manager reads this). She was friendly and helpful and genuine. I was in pizza HEAVEN! My brother-in-law ordered three different kinds of pizza - one had olives, another veggie and cheese for the kids. There may have been one more; I can't remember. Anyhow, the pan pizzas were hot and delicious!! I loved refilling my drink, once with a sweetened green tea and next, my childhood favorite, rootbeer. We also had a huge plate of caesar salad. I think he was able to visit the salad bar once, so he filled up the large plate with salad and we all enjoyed. We also ordered their two new desserts - the chocolate cookie pie and the brownie pie. BOTH amazing, but I must say: the chocolate cookie pie was to die for. The restaurant was clean and spacious and the chairs comfortable. The staff was friendly when I asked for extra napkins. I think I preferred eating the way we did (as opposed to eating from the buffet maybe). I would definitely eat there again - especially with a large group. It's perfect for families. I guess that this is a review on Pizza Hut in general and specifically, the "new" hand tossed pizza. In short, it is absolutely horrible. The hand tossed crust doesn't seem hand tossed at all, rather it seems like a pre-made dough you buy from Safeway. I am not sure if this was an issue specific to the Kaneohe store but there was hardly any pizza sauce. I prefer lots of sauce and there was not an option to add extra sauce like Papa John's (though most of the time I order extra sauce from Papa John's they don't put extra anyway, but that's for another review). It is very rare that I don't finish a pizza, but I didn't finish this one. I think Pizza Hut is a better choice for specialty pizza's like the deep dish pizza's garlic bread pizza and flat bread (discontinued) pizza. For hand tossed pizza, Boston's can't be beat. On a side note the delivery girl was really cute and had a nice smile. Kudos! read more

I went to the Kaneohe Pizza Hut and there was allot of parking with friendly staff. They do have a buffet at this one which is about $10 a person and it comes with a drink. We have ordered from here to Paradise Bay Resort while we were on holiday! The food was delivered close to 2 hours late absolutely cold. We have called after 1,5 hours but they just said it is on the way.... we have asked if there is any customer service protocol for such issues and the answer was simply a firm NO! Pizza is your typical greasy delicious Pizza Hut pizza. Can't really and shouldn't screw up the basic recipe for Pizza. So I would say I'd give a normal 3 stars for the pizza. But that's not my issue with the place. My issue is the fact that they said it'd take 50 minutes to deliver my pizza and it took them 90 minutes. I even called at 80 and they said they were going to call the driver and have the manager from that branch call me. I never received a phone call and when he did show up, they gave me a 18% discount. So at the end of the day, if you're hungry and want your food on time, don't order from this branch. Maybe their service is different if you do take out or dine in. read more

I love coming here for their dinner buffet. It's $15 and we've also got sat right away. Going to eat at Pizza Hut Buffet brings back so many memories for me with my Mom. We used to go to the Kahala buffet every Friday when it was open. I like how the servers let you enjoy your food and occasionally check in on you. But you can grab the food you want, refill your own drink so you're never waiting for a refill and then leave when you're done. So easy, quick, and relaxing. My family came to visit me and we decided to stop by Pizza Hut to eat. This girl had the worst attitude ever! She wanted to sit us in a corner and we asked to sit at another table because we felt crowded. Her response "well I wanted you to sit there but fine" we saw her roll her eyes. Ordered delivery online. The pizza got to me pretty quick. I don't usually order from Pizza Hut and I'll go back to my usual spot. Just ordered a medium handtossed pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was tasty, my only compliant is that there was too much cheese and the dough didn't have much flavor. I was upset about my breadsticks. Pizza Hut has decided to charge an upcharge on extra cheese as of June 11, 2019. So if you want to order a two topping pizza and you want one of the toppings to be cheese then be prepared to fork out another $1.50. This is an unwelcomed change in their policy. Before they would consider cheese a topping and not an upcharge. Hope Pizza Hut enjoys their upcharge because it cost them a long time (over 20 years) customer since my kid only likes extra cheese and pepperoni. read more

My son was looking forward to trying the new hot dog pizza at Pizza Hut, so I called to make phone order for pick up at the Kaneohe location. The girl on the phone said it would be ready in 30 mins, at this time it was 7:07pm. Sent my son to pick up the order. He left the house at the 30 minute mark but went to pick up something at another store first. He got to Pizza Hut at around 8:00pm and the pizza wasn't ready. Then 15 mins later they hand my son two clearly damaged pizzas boxes with pizzas that were obviously (by sight and smell) burnt. This is not the first time we've waited over an hour, only to get sub-par pizza. They need to have better communication between their call center and onsite locations so that they can better meet whatever expectation they are putting out there so as not to put out an inferior product in an effort to meet that expectation. read more

What was a simple Pizza delivery problem has turned into a total Pizza Hut ban. On 3/31/17, we ordered pizza for delivery from the Kaneohe store. The call center rep told us it would be more than an hour, possibly an hour and 15 minutes. We were fine with that initially. After an hour and a half, we were calling the Call Center back "where is our Pizza?" We were assured that it was coming. At the two hour mark we received a cold pizza. Ewww yuck! We called the call center to complain and the manager Moku called and apologized, they were short handed that night and offered us a free pizza. We were very happy about that. So today, April 8, 2017, we called and ordered a pizza for take out. When we arrived, the person at the counter asked my husband "so why do YOU get a free pizza? " He called out my husband's first and last name loudly. This is in front of many customers who were staring, waiting to pay or order. My husband didn't answer, thinking how embarrassed he was being interrogated by some stranger. He just wanted his pizza and get out. But the guy kept on. His name was Rod. By the time he got to the car, he was fuming! We called the store after he calmed down and the guy interrogating him was a manager. Whoa boy, this guy needs customer service skills, he still wanted to argue with my husband about why the other manager approved a free pizza. Sorry Pizza Hut, your pizza is not that great. Went to this location for buffet. It was a salad bar bar, pizza and pasta bar and soda fountain. Was all self serve. Salad was fresh and good. Pizza was hot and restocked, although I thought they could had made a better effort on the variety, and type of pizza as far as thick or thin etc. pasta was good although they do not serve spaghetti as shown in an older photo anymore. I loved pizza huts lunch buffet a while ago. Came here recently and I was very disappointed. Salad bar hardly counts as a salad bar. Salad mix with croutons that's it. Went on to the pizza and pasta. Things were cold, it doesn't help when the heating lights above the buffet aren't working. Seriously, that's a violation, nothing was up to temp.
