However it's the restaurant that is probably the easiest for my 4.5 year old daughter (other than McDonald's that I try to avoid even more)! For Quebeckers however St Hubert is an institution in family dining or in casual eating for either lunch, dinner or a late night snack! Chicken and fries to a Quebecois is the basic equivalent to pasta and tomato sauce for an Italian. That is why there are so many chicken places in the province (St Hub, Au coq, Scores, Benny & PFK) to name a few. For this evening I ordered a chicken burger with caesar salad. To start it off the creamy coleslaw. The burger was decent but the Caesar salad was below average! My daughter was however quite happy with her chicken burger and fries. She had the ice cream cone to end it off so all was good! Service was pleasant and an OK experience although not my fave place! A word of warning ******avoid going on Friday or Saturday nights as these restaurants are popular with the masses or risk waiting in line!

They have also added many sauces and spices if you need to zip up that meat for dinner! Pick up a tarte au sucre, blueberry or apple or pecan pie on a shelf below the sausages and enjoy! These kind of old school butcher shops are going away in the day and age of Costco cut meats. They do have a following and I hope will be around for some time to come!

This location was nice and clean and had a TV on with the impending Habs game! Ordered my Chicken Pad Saew and it was just how it should be. A bit lighter on the vegetable side but decent amount of chicken. It's made right in front of your eyes and takes a bit under 5 min. Quick, casual and healthier (in my mind) than McDonalds is why I keep coming back! Giddy up Thai Express!
