My Mountain Dew tastes different but I'm not complaining to the manager because they should know when to change their filters or something and they ran out of straws I know I should be more empathetic but it's their responsibility to make sure they got everything. And my dad couldn't get his usual personal pan pizza with a salad during dinner I know it's kinda breaking tradition but whatever happened to "making the customer happy" or that "the customer is always right." Pretty typical for the fast food pizza places. They treat their toppings like gold. Never ask for double anything, because it will always look like a single serving. The pizzas are gimmicks to get you to buy and every topping is nothing but adding to the profit margin. Find a local pizzeria that the pizza guy has a heavy hand with the toppings and you will never eat a pizza from a chain again. read more

Even though I don't live in Zapata anymore I still have their phone number memorized from the pre-cell phone days. I love this place and have many great childhood memories here. Maybe some of the waitresses have exposed hickies, fresh tattoos, maybe they've never learned the basics of customer service or politeness... I'll still go here everytime I visit my hometown. Maybe they fuck orders on a regular basis. And if it's crowded, forget about getting your food in less than an hour. But you know what? They still have that awesome pizza hut french dressing! Getting the red, greasy french dressing on my wilted side salad is my favorite part of the pizza hut experience. For decades this has been the fanciest restaurant in Zapata. read more

To anyone going to this Pizza Hut just do yourself a favor go to little Cesar's. The customer service is painful. Order a pizza early and get it really late. So late you could pitch a tent inside and go to sleep and wake up 12 hours later and still not have it ready. Really short on staff must have high turnover rate or is a legal sweatshop. Anyway if your expecting great customer service just dont do it you will end up disappointed. Any way trust me when I say save yourself time and money and just go somewhere else. Favorite pizza in town. Stay away from there when they are full because you will receive slow service but the waiters are all very attentive. I'm always happy with the service I receive from all the waiters and I love the pizza read more

The other reviewer hit the nail on the head. . . but it's Pizza Hut so I didn't expect much. . . although I did expect that they'd have my pizza ready 3 hours after I ordered it. . . alas service in this part of the country is not what I'm used to and it still took them a half hour to get my pizza ready after I arrived. . . be that as it may, I'll probably go back because it's the only place in town that has anything resembling a pizza and that's pretty hard to screw up. . . read more

If I could leave something lower than a one I would. Ordered a pizza online went to go pick it was "ready." By ready you would think it would be waiting for me to pick up pay and walk out. Because by definition of ready my order should have been prepared and awaiting my arrival if not off by 4 or 5 minutes which is understandable. People are not machines to expect them to be punctual all the time is ridiculous. I can take waiting but being brushed off like my question was irrelevant and I was being bothersome was the last straw. Hopefully you all learn from my experience and go somewhere else and just save your time and money. read more

If you want pizza in Zapata, you have to come here. You have no choice since this is the only pizza place in Zapata! You'll have to wait an hour for it though, even if you're the only customer in the restaurant. I think they just throw the servers to the customers without any type of training, hell, I think they start all the employees without training. I'm praying for another pizza place but until then, I'll see you at Pizza Hut. read more

We have frequented this Pizza Hut multiple times while hunting in Zapata. Never had any issues with our pizza service was nice. Pizza was hot and great, and better than a lot of Pizza Huts in Central Texas. And as far as the wait it was minimal, just called it in they give you an ETA and they are usually pretty accurate. read more

I signed up just to review how bad my experience was. Wouldn't even look at us when we walked in. We stood by the hand written sign that said "wait to be seated" after 5 minutes of employees not acknowledging us one finally sat us down with out menus, which we had to get ourselves. They took our order about 10 minutes after seating us and gave us our pizza about 20 minutes after. Never came back to refill our waters or ask us how our meal was. We had our own waiter while another served the two previous customers and two others that were seated after us. Our waiter wouldn't look or speak to us neither would the other waiter who would serve and refill all other tables around us. I asked our waiter to turn the basketball game on the TV next to our table that was playing on the 2 other TV's and she shook her head yes and walked off. After 5 minutes of no change I got up and asked again... She turned the channels looking for the game and gave up after about a minute of trying the same 5 channels, which there were more than those 5, and figured golf would have to satisfy us without saying a word. It is with out question the worst service I have ever seen and I will not be going to another Pizza Hut again especially this one! read more
