I swore off pizza buffets a long time ago because the pizza was either cold, stale or subpar. I was with a friend and we thought we would try Pizza Inn not knowing it was a buffet. Much to my surprise the pizza was pretty darn good and it had not been sitting out for a long time. The wings and salad bar was a great addition. Wonderful for a quick in and out lunch. My wife and I were camping at Cooper Lake State Park, near Sulphur Springs, Texas. We live in Tyler, and don't have a Pizza Inn. So, I was excited to see one in Sulphur Springs. I have fond memories of Pizza Inn from growing up in the 70s. I ordered a small thin crust beef and jalapeño. It was delicious, taking me back to my teenage years. It was so good, that I went back two nights later. This time I ordered a small thin crust pepperoni, mushroom, sausage and jalapeño. It was also great. I wish we had a Pizza Inn in Tyler. I use to work for pizza in back in my high school years. Today 7/31/2024 I went to the restaurant to eat and they tell me, no special request for pizza on buffet. We are almost out of dough. Funny thing the pizza is still coming out. I have never seen a place disregarded their customer service for their customers like this place. They should shut it down immediately if they don't want to take care of their customers. . And one of the customers that was in there a roofing company that's probably partnered up with the owner there that probably knows the owner had an attitude against me as well. For questioning why they're doing what they're doing.So I'll won't be back. P.S. don't go until they fix their attitude and get customers service correct again. Went for the buffet after landing from flights all day and was highly disappointed. "The buffet", sure wasn't much of a "buffet". There were probably 3 things out, and what was out was definitely not fresh. The place was swamped with people, so I'm not really sure why there was such a lack of fresh food... I had to ask incessantly for more pizzas to be made, only for them to just make one. They never bothered to make the second pizza I asked for. By the time the first pizza was done, I didn't even care to eat anymore. The price was a rip off. The place wasn't clean, nor were their bathrooms. Disgusting. Do better pizza inn. Pizza Inn is not what it used to be. The buffet had pizza but none of it tasted quite right. The drink machine was out of service but don't worry they have hot Dr thunder, mountain lightning and plenty of unsweetened tea. I gave one star but only because I couldn't give zero. read more

Absolutely love this place not only is the food good and hot and they have the best salad but the workers have such warming hearts. I went here today with my son.There was a man with two girl in front of me. His card declined but he had already walked off. I told her to add it to my order. She just used my card to pay for the man's order and did not charge me for my son and I. Everyone falls on hard times and instead of calling the man out she had the heart to pay it forward. The rest of our experience was just as great with workers checking on us throughout our visit. Love this place! read more

When you walk in the food looks pretty decent. The pizza smells gross, the cheese taste and looks like plastic, there is almost no crust. While I was eating I noticed two BUGS on the floor and the window, the food made me gag every bite I took. I definitely don't recommend. read more

I'm a big fan of pizza and pizza buffets are one of my favorites! Pizza Inn has a great salad bar with all kinds of fixin's to get a great variety of salad. They have about 8 different kinds of pizza available on their buffet line as well as about 5 different kinds of dessert pizzas on their dessert buffet. If you're craving a certain pizza but don't see it on the buffet, you can mention it to the staff and they'll fire one up for you and even bring you fresh slices to your table as soon as it's ready. Their spaghetti is pretty yummy and on Fridays they have chicken wings. For the price they ask for the dinner buffet, it's definitely a deal! A great place to bring the family and enjoy a casual lunch or dinner out. The staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive to its patrons and it keeps me coming back for more. This is my go-to place in Sulphur Springs for dine-in pizza. read more

I give this one star. The only way it could get less than 1 star is if there were pools of grease on top of the pizza. There was no tomato sauce on any of the pizza I got off the buffet. Same with ones I have had made to order in the past few years. The crust tonight was soggy on all the pizzas. Minimal toppings on any of the 4 varieties I got. As a matter of fact everything tasted the same. The salad bar lacked variety. No light dressings. The lettuce was soggy (that must be a running theme here). Nothing at all tasted fresh. I live for pizza. I could eat pizza every day. After this experience I'm going to wait a week or so before I get pizza again. The staff was nice and friendly. But I'd rather have delicious pizza served by a grumpy server than hideous pizza / salad bar offered by the nicest person on the planet. read more

Passing through, we ordered a large pizza and salad bar. I grew up in the pizza business and managed a Pizza Inn myself. My 5 yrs old son needed to go to the restroom and when we returned our table was wiped clean. It's hard for me to understand someone leaving 9/12ths of a large pizza, piping hot, for any other reason than the restroom, but apparently someone else didn't take notice. I went to the front and explained the issue. They replaced my pizza, added a desert pizza, and gave me $10 back to make it right. Wasn't expected nor did I feel fair, but they insisted. They usually have a decent lunch buffet, but the place is always packed at that time. You usually gotta fight for scraps unless you wait for them to put out new pizzas and then make a dash to the buffet. If you ask them to make a special pizza for the buffet, they will so that is good. Overall, it is decent pizza and priced reasonably. read more

I absolutely love bringing my family here to eat. The pizza is always fresh and the employees are fast and friendly with any request we have. The dining room is clean and the staff are quick to clear off dirty tables that might be scattered throughout the dining area. We drive 45 mins one way to enjoy Pizza Inn in Sulphur Springs. It's worth the drive and their Chicken Fajita pizza is the absolute best...I highly recommend it! read more

Pizza inn is different. I work in the food inspection business and what I see in this establishment is wild. From the cooks not wearing gloves and no hats, to the pizza pans on the floor and the employees eating in the cooking area, it just doesn't seem sanitary. The pizza is one step above cheap frozen pizza from the store. It's nothing special but is good to feed the kids when out late.
