I finally got the chance to try it again last weekend, caught the amazingly talented Michael Gourzis playing while having a beer and waiting for the pizza with my son. I ordered a half pep and half cheese pizza here on a whim while waiting for my dog grooming to be done down the block. I waited about 25 minutes. I'm glad I did, because this pizza tasted great! It reminded me of a hybrid thin crust pan pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with its undercarriage golden brown and beautifully blistered. Service was also friendly. Ok ok... the Pizza was DELICIOUS but OH MY GOD it was the most I've ever spent on a 14" pizza. Ordered the supreme "loaded" in 14" and it came to $40... $48 after tip. I was craving pizza and wanted to try a new spot. I found Pizza Kraft in Lomita. I ordered an order ahead of time online. When it said it was ready, I pulled in and parked. There is a small parking lot in the back. I went in and walked up to the counter. I waited for about 10 minutes until I was finally acknowledged. During my visit, two guys were working and I know they saw me standing there. After 10 mins, one of them finally spoke and said we will be right with you. After another 5 mins, he asked what can I get you. I told him I placed an online order and it said it was ready. He asked for my name and said the pizza is just about to come out. However, as I was watching them, my pizza was ready and was in the hot oven already in the box, they just forgot to make my macaroni cheese balls. So I watched them quickly throw them in the fryer. Finally, my order was ready. When I went home, the pizza seemed like it was sitting in the hot oven for awhile and just didn't taste the freshest. The macaroni balls we're disgusting! They were not cooked all the way and we're just terrible. They were unbeatable and I just threw them all away. I won't be coming back. I can cross this spot off my list. read more

Off work early, felt lucky to beat the crowd, it was empty except two separate people at the bar after entering through pizza side and seeing one female staff member who appeared to be moving pans around. Ordered a buffalo pizza + pepperoni via QR code to table 9. Small pizza came out to 38.00 with the tip. Took over 30 mins and no pepperoni. On its own, buffalo chicken pie is dry. First let me say we love Project Barley. My husband and I frequent both the Lomita and the Redondo locations. Once monthly we attend the stellar songwriter showcase in Lomita, and frequently we order food from Pizza Kraft where the food is typically mediocre at best. The last time we ordered food from here was just pathetic. Chicken nuggets for 'boneless chicken wings' of questionable size and 'Parmesan chicken sliders' which were Kings Hawaiian rolls with more chicken nuggets and a side of tomato sauce. Come on! We want to support the brewery and the music and the ownership, but the food choices are just plain awful. We've had the pizza and the calzones in the past and they have been so inconsistent quality wise that we moved on. Please up your game here. We'll continue to support Project Barley but Pizza Kraft from here on out is a no go. read more

The service was great, but I did not like the pizza slice that I received here. I'm actually glad it was free from the OTM app because I ended up tossing it out. The slices are pre made and parbaked and then the toppings are added afterwards. I picked basil, pepperoni and tomatoes- all of which slid right off the pizza when I picked it up and tried to bite it. My crust was kinda burnt and overall the pizza ended up super greasy and lacked any real wow factor. Consistency of product and service are the big 1-2. Service has never been a problem, only consistency of product. The first 2-3 times I came here (either sitting or takeout), the pizzas were perfect: dough, baked quality, ingredients, etc. The last 2-3 times I've gone, completely inconsistent: burned, soupy top, topping quality. When the pizza is good, easily 4+ stars. As of the last few pizzas: 1-2 stars. I really want to give this another shot, but the inconsistency makes me incredibly leery. read more

Great concept. Friendly service. Best pizza I've had in the South Bay. Good size, not bad prices, good quality toppings and ingredients. Also, while you wait have a beer in the attached brewery and tap house, Project Barley. Service there is amazing and drinks are probably the best locally brewed ales around. They have quiz nights and live music, and you can take it to go or eat your pizza in the bar. So cool to have this as a local and easily accessible on PCH. read more

Had a craving to try a new place and saw that the garlic knots are supposed to be good here. I did my order thru Uber eats and I think my knots were a little over done or maybe it's a new style of baking. The whole two orders of knots were all black as you can see in the photo. I was supper hungry and still attempted to eat them. The taste wasn't bad but considering the color. Also the margarita pizza I order was way over done too :/ I think I will try and order again sometime when I get a chance cause I would like to see how it's supposed to taste. read more

Tasty pizza, but be aware that it's expensive. A basic pepperoni pizza costs $24.00. The amazingly delicious veggie pizza costs $40.00. The place is colocated with the craft brewpub Project Barley, which I visit once a month for the bluegrass jam I enjoy supporting both Project Barley and Pizza Kraft -- I just have to remember to save up for what amounts to a splurge. Pizza Kraft does a fine job of accommodating special dietary needs. Their gluten-free pizza crust is very good. One of my friends brought a package of low-fat cheese and asked them to use it on her pizza, and they willingly obliged. The only problem I've ever had with the pizza itself was undercooked crust in the middle of their largest-sized pizza -- not really a big deal. All in all, I'm happy to eat there once a month. read more

I really like project barley and their brews, however, the pizza I ordered last night was terrible. Pepperoni pizza was very greasy, dripping grease off every slice, top and bottom. Had to use multiple paper towels to soak up the grease and that didn't really help. The box it was served in had grease stains from the underside of the pizza. I've had this pizza before and it's a hit or miss literally. This time was a definite miss! The cheese wasn't even fully melted. Disappointing that I had to throw out the whole pie. It's not cheap pizza either, so a bummer to have this experience especially when the beer is pretty decent and the place is within walking distance. Definitely recommend this place for its ambiance and beer but I would think twice before I order another pizza! read more

We found this place when visiting the brewery it's attached too, Project Barley (that deserves its own review), and we love this pizza! I usually never eat the crust to my pizza but this crust is so good I eat every bite. Me and the fiancé are usually there on Thursday's for pizza, drinks and entertainment and each pizza I've tried has not disappointed. I also love their Buffalo cauliflower wings, and just found out on our last visit that they can be made in any sauce of your choice not just Buffalo, so we're definitely going to try something new next visit.
