It was very disappointing experience considering we paid over 100 Euros for 3 people for lunch. In summary, the Trattoria in Autun is very much a tourist trap, avoid at all costs. There are much better options.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant near our hotel. We had the three course set…read moremenu (no choices). Each course was outstanding. The first course consisted of a large wedge of onion cheese tart, a salad and two vegetable rolls. The main was a lovely individually baked lasagne. And the last course was the best panne cota I have eaten. I noticed the French gentleman at the next table was scrapping every last bite from the dish. The three course dinner was only 18 euros. The large carafe of house red was 6 euros. And to top it off the service and decor was lovely.
