My family and I always enjoy going to Pizza Ranch when we visit the Dells. For affordable buffets this is the spot to go to! I think your experience can be really hit or miss based on what time you go. During peak lunch and dinner hours food is always coming out fast and fresh! I love their variety and also their Broast chicken is amazing! For all you can eat prices range from 12-14 per person which is a steal for an area like Wisconsin Dells. Majority of restaurants in this area will most likely run a family of 4 around 60-80 while pizza ranch tends to be around 50-60 for us and we are stuffed for the rest of the day. The service is great! They allow you to order pizzas that are not out on the tables. The ambiance is pretty solid like any other American buffets but much cleaner in my opinion.

Our first time here!!! We just had a whole day at the water park and we're all starving! We went here, there's pizza buffet, salad bar, pasta, mashed potatoes, the fried chicken is soooo good! Soft serve vanilla ice cream too! Adults are like $15/head, kids is $1x(age). Fountain drinks additional $2. Friendly service!

First time in been to a buffet in years. There was a wide variety of pizza in the pizza bar including chocolate chip cookie pizza and apple pie pizza. Salad bar was good. I got some pizza, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pasta, ice cream and soda. Food was very tasty, people came several times around to pick up plates, workers were quite friendly. Pricewise it was extremely cheap and they do provide military discount.

I grew up going to my local pizza ranch in MN but it has since been closed. When I saw this in the dells I immediately told my husband we have to go. I have been dreaming about their taco pizza for years!!! I am happy to report the pizza is just as good as I remember. Their speciality and dessert pizzas are what they do best. 10/10. Next time we are in the dells we will be stopping by!

Who doesn't love pizza? Pizza Ranch offers unlimited buffet style pizza, fried chicken, salad, and desserts pizza/ice cream. They even take customer requests for pizzas which was great to see that you can ask for whatever you'd like on your pie. Awesome place to eat at with the family. The pizza in particular was great, fresh, and delicious. I loved the simple veggie pizza. The friend chicken was good too. The salad bar was decent, I wish it was consistently being touched up like the pizza station was, because the lettuce was low and some greens were wilted and dressings were out. They had dessert pizzas and a vanilla soft serve ice cream station which was tasty. There's a coupon at the Dells welcome center for 10% percent off your entire bill. It has an country down homey feel to it, clean, and friendly service.

Box, clearly marked gluten sensitive crust.

Online ordering was not 100% smooth and I ended up with a plain extra cheese pizza. GF box clearly marked. When I opened it up I was concerned that it was not gluten free as the crust was light and a little fluffy. I did not have gluten reaction so it must have been. Tasted good!

We frequently visit Pizza Ranch when we are in the Dells with the kids, but tonight it was just me and my husband. We'd been playing hard at Ho-Chunk and didn't want to pay the $20 prive tag for their buffet, so we headed to Pizza Ranch for a quick bite. We arrived at 9:15 PM, and they close at 10:00 PM, so I was a bit concerned that the food wouldn't be fresh. My worries were for naught, however, as the buffet was fully stocked with fresh options. Even though Pizza Ranch specializes in pizza, there are many other options available on the buffet. The fried chicken is delicious and they have fresh-made kettle chips that my husband loves. I enjoy the biscuits and gravy and mashed potatoes. There's also a salad bar, soups, dessert pizza, and soft-serve. Customers can request any type of pizza and it will be delivered to your table before it is placed on the buffet. The service was prompt and friendly. Dirty dishes were quickly removed from our table. The only complaint we had this evening is that the floor was pretty dirty with crumbs and food scraps, and the buffet area was sticky from soda spills. I understand that it was the end of the night, but a quick sweep goes a long way. Overall, I highly recommend a stop at Pizza Ranch when you are in the dells. Tip: when staying at the Kalahari, it's just a quick jaunt down the street, and you'll pay much less for your meal.

Just yuck. Food is just bad here. I would not return with the family ever again. Expensive for garbage food.

It's a pizza buffet. Don't expect too much. It's a one time thing only. Wouldn't go again.

The only Pizza Ranch I've ever been to that charges an extra $3 for drinks. Plates were dirty. No ice tea. No coffee.

The kids had a blast making their own stir fry -- and honestly, so did the adults. The ambiance was fun, especially with the HuHot chants; the kids really got into it. You take a bowl (some people use two as it's technically unlimited) , fill it with some protein (beef, pork, and/or chicken), add veggies if you want, and then pour in some sauces either using one of their recipes or just get creative. You can also add noodles and they have a self-service white rice section. You hand over your bowl to one of the cooks who work their magic. If you haven't been here before, a bowl of meat shrinks to about a cup so don't be shy (or you can go back for more). Some of the sauces are spicy (they are labeled how hot each is) so be careful with this too. And even though it's kind of like a buffet tip your services (and/or the cooks separately using their cash tip jar in line) as they are really sweat in it up cooking your dinner.

We also have relatives nearby that come stay to make it a large family affair. The boys really love this place. The numerous water parks are all great. The arcade area is good for half a day. The food venues are all good and the evening visits for frozen yogurt is a must. Rooms are getting a bit dated but well maintained and more than acceptable for our needs. Plenty of parking. There is so much to do and see in the area, this makes for a great home base location.

We couldn't decide out of the two experience which one to do so we did a double feature. We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

We stayed in a single king room and were pleasantly surprised with how much space we had, it didn't feel cramped even with all the toddler gear. Both the hotel and the waterpark were consistently clean throughout our stay. For a high traffic family resort this was impressive and much appreciated. The wave pool and dedicated toddler area were a huge hit. Our little dude had a blast and it was great to have a safe, age appropriate space for him to explore. The lodge is due for some updates, specifically the waterpark equipment - the water jet skis in the toddler area were all broken and material was visibly chipping. While my toddler didn't notice the cosmetic wear, as a parent it is a little worrisome. I'd say visiting in the winter was the perfect way to beat the cold, though it did limit us to indoor sections. We're definitely curious to return when it's warmer to see how the outdoor area fairs. Overall a great choice for families with toddlers, but hopefully, management will invest in some much needed repairs to the play features soon!

I complained to the front desk. They said they cannot do anything about the deluxe room, but they moved me to another standard room, which was ok, but not what I paid for. I communicated with their management to try to work this out. They basically told me to go pound sand and to deal with Expedia. Expedia told me it's Great Wolf Lodge problem not their problem. With so many other nice water parks in the area, why would I come back to this sh*thole?
