If I was able to give Pizzazz a 6/5, I would! Kim and Bob are so so sweet and caring. They treat every customer that comes in like family, and ease any nerves that come with piercing/needles. I came to Pizzazz since I had gotten my ear lobes done prior, but the place I went to was very very sketchy and did an absolutely horrible job using the piercing gun (the piercing hole almost was on the edge of my ear). This piercing job had hurt tremendously, causing me to be very fearful of getting pierced again, but really longed to get them done again since the prior piercings had closed up. Kim explained to me that Pizzazz is unique in that instead of using a machine, Bob uses a needle and does each piercing by hand. To my surprise, the earlobe piercing had almost no pain, unlike a piercing machine. In fact, the piercing went so well, that I came back again to get both my septum and left nostril done, which both also had little to no pain. Kim also is so amazing in that she provides her number to text if any issues or problems arise. She answers so quickly and is very clear everytime. I have gotten various piercings here and have loved both experiences. Mind you I was nervous for both but came out satisfied with the outcome. Kim and Bob are just so sweet and attentive. They will ask any questions and make you feel at ease. They are so easy to talk to and it feels like you've known them for some time even if it's you're first time at the shop. We quickly started talking my bf and i about anime and studio Ghibli. They are so easy to get along with and so cool as well. Anyways back to the piercing ...I got a nose piercing the first time I came and it was such an impulsive move since I was driving by and my sister had previously gotten a piercing and wanted to look at some of their products they had so we went in. Another time I went intentionally to get a second ear piercing next to my first ear piercing I got when I was a little girl. Both times Bob relaxed me and made sure I was comfortable. Reassured me everything would be ok since I get a little nervous and usually close my eyes to disassociate. Both times I got an infection & I was out of town both times for some reason and wasn't able to take care of it properly so that's on me. I was in Ireland after my freshly done nose piercing and wifi/signal was spotty but I was able to text their number for help and Kim was so amazing. She was so nice and responded so quickly. A few days ago before leaving she asked me to stop by the shop to get tea tree oil since it was looking like a pimple on the nose piercing . I had taken that oil to Ireland and she periodically asked me for pictures and walked me through the process. When I got my nose piercing I was in Tampa and also texted her and she responded so quickly . She was reliable and friendly both times assuring me it would be ok. It had puss and hurt to touch so it was hard to wash and take care of but my bf was able to help me with her texted instructions since honestly I'm a little squeamish . I can't recommend for infant ear piercings. My baby's ears were pierced unevenly, even after I asked the piercer if we should redraw the marks prior to piercing. She had 3 dots on one ear and one large line down the other. Infants are squirmy, but all the more reason to ensure you get an even mark before starting. He insisted he knew exactly where to pierce and so we trusted the professional. I ran out of there afterwards because my baby was in tears and we were there much longer than anticipated, so I didn't get a good look at them until the next day. We were offered a refund if we returned and to have it removed and redone, but frankly it's a painful experience and I won't put her through it again and especially not there. I don't care about the money, just very disappointed I put my baby through that experience for it to not be done properly. If you decide to get pierced there, highly suggest making an appt if they offer that. We were told our wait was about 30 min and ended up waiting 2 hours. read more

My first piercing didn't last more than 2 days swollen up and after the 6th day I didn't even feel pain or tenderness anymore! Now on to Kim! So I'm the first to review & to me that's really serendipitous. I've been going to bob for tattoos & exclusively for piercings for almost a decade!! I originally went to him where we both lived in Massachusetts. In April I random decided to pack up and move to Florida a few months prior to that I had wanted my septum and was upset because when I went to call bob the show was closed.I skeptical to get any piercings because I've always only gone to bob but since I couldn't find him I reluctantly went to another shop that was extremely over priced, got it and it was atrocious. I took it out immediately and moved to Gainesville a few days later You can imagine my surprise while scrolling on Facebook when I saw that bob had opened up a shop a little over 10 mins from me. I was super excited When I saw Kimberly post in Gainesville word of mouth & excited to see they too had relocated to Florida. I'm very excited And grateful to get to continue my body mod journey with the ones it all started with. I've gotten one tattoo already and I'm scheduled for a huge thigh piece in a little over a week. My boyfriend got his very first tattoo last week it's a beautiful tribute to his mom.
