Do not eat here.
I…read moredon't normally write reviews, but will share my experience so others do not make the mistake and have a special night ruined as we did. Here is what happened to us, on a Saturday night in November, at this restaurant.
1 - We arrived about 21 15, and sat outside. The first thing the waiter said was that there was only pizza (cue alarm bells - reheat job likely)
2 - Within 3 minutes, one casually dressed employee of the restaurant turned off the heating lamp above us, and started swearing while trying to throw a plastic bag over it. He and another man then starting taking in the canvas railing above the tables - crashing the bars against the wall above our heads. We moved tables of our own accord - being told it was fine - and the guys outside kept clearing tables and thumping the canvas roof and retractable bars against the wall just above our heads.
3 - We got up and moved inside, bringing our own table setting and drinks, we were told 'no problem' but no apology or help. Our pizzas came, burnt. One was completely black underneath. I would normally eat it and grumble but it was inedible so I told the waiter who took it away, without an apology. The other pizza was edible, but not great, with processed tomato sauce.
4 - I ran to catch up to the waiter and told him not to bring me another pizza - at this point we just wanted to leave, as soon as possible - he insisted, saying he couldn't change the bill.
5 - The waiter came back about 2 minutes after taking the first pizza, with another, and when my girlfriend repeated that we didn't want it, turned and took it away with a hostile attitude. At this stage, the first man was opening windows and moving tables immediately around us.
6 - The waiter came back and rudely demanded immediate payment for one pizza and our two drinks. The change was slammed down on the table without a word.
7 - The manager came by as we prepared to leave, at which point we complained. He was apologetic (blaming the staff, even though he had been the one quite giving the orders the entire time) and insisted on bringing something to compensate (my girlfriend repeated a few times that she didn't want any). He brought two strong liquor shots, which we didn't touch, and left. He shouted 'Thank you' across the street to us.
8 - On the same market strip after we left, there were a number of other restaurants still taking orders and serving food and full of happy of customers.
We hope this review prevents others from making the mistake we did.
This restaurant is awful, do not eat here.
