I had a good feeling about this place when I saw them advertising real Neapolitan pizza, and their use of San Marzano tomatoes. And the wood-fired oven. I've had the luck to have visited Naples and try out the pizza there - the simplicity and deliciousness of their pies I keep with me as a metric. The pizza here does not disappoint. They have simple but delicious sounding combinations, and we went with a simple margarita, and a potato and rosemary white pizza. As we waited for the pies, I ordered the chocolate mousse, which was a delicious dark chocolate mousse topped with crushed salted hazelnuts. Again, simply delicious - not too sweet, and a lovely balance of salty sweet and roasty richness. We ate the pizzas at my friend's flat, and crusts were thin (probably crisper if you eat them in house, rather than after they've been sitting in a box for some minutes), with the perfect level of saltiness. The potatoes were thicker than the crust, so you can't just eat a slice easily from the box - but it was starch heaven with fragrant rosemary perfume. However I preferred the margarita for the sweet and tart tomato sauce that cut the richness of the cheese, which didn't overpower the pizza. Overall fantastic pizza, and a wonderfully warm atmosphere if you eat in. I will definitely return next time I'm in London. read more
