They had one table for two and they graciously seated us. We ordered the Risotto alla Cicoria con Gamberoni and the Scaloppine di Vitello al Limone con Tagliatelle. The risotto was as good as previous times we have ordered it. Only difference this visit is that we opted for the full course and glad we did. Of course I couldn't come here without ordering the rosemary oven roasted potatoes which were kindly substituted for the tagliatelle. Rosemary potatoes are excellent in that lemon sauce. Nothing was left. Both members of the Clean Plate Club. Not hard to do wwhen the food is so very good. Service was excellent. Never rushed and the restaurant was totaly full during our visit. Initally they said we would have a 2 hour wait (no thanks) but another lady said we could be seated now but only had 2 hours. Being American, that's plenty of time for dinner. Servers were very nice and we were not rushed. The soup, zuppa di pomodoro was delicious. I had the vitello scaloppine al limon which finely sliced and the tenderest veal I ever had. Wife had the linguine all venez which she loved. A great dining experience, especially since we had no reservations. When we arrived, the place was full, so make a reservation. We were greeted with a prosecco as we waited a minute or two for our table to be ready. This was the real deal. The staff appeared and sounded quintessentially Italian, the clay oven was in plain sight, and did the place ever smell delicious!  Shortly after being seated, I noticed the restaurant had framed certificates noting they'd been awarded the world championship awards multiple times since the 2000s. At that moment it occurred to me that we might very well actually be in for the world's best pizza. We ordered four different pizzas and split them four ways, giving us all a chance to taste a bit of everything. My favourites were the prosciutto & mushroom pizza, though their award winning special was notably the hit at our table. Truthfully, I don't have anything bad to say about any of the pizzas. The toppings were incredibly fresh and I can only assume directly from Italy.  I mean, it was the best pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend if you are in or near Zurich. It's definitely pricey by North American standards (Approx. 30 Francs per pizza), but the quality did not disappoint.

Here is what I ordered: - Margherita pizza for kids (they can make anything on the menu kids size) : this was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy. The sauce had a lot of flavor. We loved it. - Penne Arrabiata: this was delicious. So flavorful and so good. I finished off the plate. Overall, a great place to dine. The service was friendly and attentive. They did bring a bottle of water and charged us, even when I said to just give us tap water. Definitely give it a try.
