We were welcomed by the owner and started off enjoying a sparkling white wine while enjoying bruschetta (local vibrant tomatoes). We spoke English and they spoke Italian and they accommodated every request with a smile. Tip: The menu is in Italian/German and English. We moved on to our next course of fresh mussels in an amazing broth. We finished our lunch with fresh pasta - mussels, clams and baby snails. Delicious! We decided that it was so tasty we would come back for dinner and so happy we did! The local wines were superb as well as the house made limoncello. For dinner we once again enjoyed the beautiful homemade pasta and this time with olive oil and peppers. The owner came our with a tray of the fresh pasta prior to it being cooked. Yumm! For our entree we shared the Swordfish with olives and cherry tomatoes. My husband thought it was one of the best fishes he has ever had, mind you he is a "foodie as I". Don't miss out eating here!!! The problem was that our tour guide said the tour will be at least an hour before we get lunch. I had an idea though... I decided to when the group was distracted with the WC that I would run up a side alley and find some food. Enter Riccapizza. You almost wouldn't believe its there if you walked by too fast. But this place is legit. I was able to sneak in, order a pizza and sneak out in a matter of minutes without my party knowing. Best part? This pizza friggin legit. I love how big the slices are and the sauce is reallllllly tasty. If you are in the area and need a quick bite I HIGHLY recommend. It was so good, I had to shamefully get two more slices hahaha...
