My family and I came here because it was recommended by our hotel. And I must say, I'm glad we listened. We ate here for dinner twice on our stay in Vienna. The restaurant is located on a corner a few blocks from our hotel. It's a relatively small restaurant compared to the ones in the states.
They have a good selection of different foods ranging from pasta to meat and seafood. We decided on pasta, fish, and some appetizers. Everything was delicious. The salmon carpaccio was fresh. Our fried fish was not at all greasy and lightly salted to bring out the flavor. The skin was crispy and mmm...good. The pasta had enough sauce so it's not bland, but not enough to overpower.
Staff does not speak much English, but they were friendly and we were able to communicate despite the fact that, sadly, we speak zero German.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for excellent food for a reasonable price. read more
