Lively, but not loud. We had a nice chat with our server, Flavia, who turned out to be the "boss's (Fabio Pezzoli) daughter", and a delightful young woman! After hearing the specials and scouring the menu we ordered a pizza and a house made fettuccine with a creamy parmesan black pepper truffle sauce. Served with sliced truffles, it was a superb dish! I can honestly say that it was one of the best pasta dishes in recent memory! The pizza was thin, crispy and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, I enjoyed an espresso and a perfect panna cotta. Caroline simply enjoyed her wine. We closed the restaurant after visiting with Fabio and his friend, a well-known local writer Erik Fosnes Hansen. The Diavolo came out piping hot with a thin crust that had just the right chew, and enough spice to make me feel alive but not regret my life choices.
