My friend insisted we go eat their pizza after hearing it was run by a Southern French Family from Marseille and that they did specialty pizzas from that region, well my friend wasn't wrong.....it was amazing. Not a crumb was left. 2 of our party ordered a club sandwich and split it between the two of them; they raved about the quality. The club sandwich was sufficiently generous to satiate both of them! The service was fast and friendly. The decor is a little dated but who cares with diner-style food like this! If you were driving through Montebello or in the general vicinity; give Aramis a try. It is welcoming and reminiscent of the old style casse-croute of Québec! We'll be back, definitely, the next time we are in the area.

Located on the main highway going through Montebello, QC, a picturesque town on the Ottawa River. Inside is just as picturesque with both Old World and modern touches. I had the Cajun shrimp which was unlike any Cajun food I've had in the USA, but delicious. The sauce was creamy and had just a touch of spice. For a drink I ordered the strawberry lemonade which was refreshing. Then fir dessert, the apple crumble a-la-mode which was amazing. There was a bit of a wait to get a table at 2 PM. Although there were still some empty tables customers had to wait uo to half an hour. I suppose that may have been due to a staffing shortage. Our servers were friendly, but the wait for food also took longer than expected. This is not a place for a quick lunch, but more of a place for those who are not in a hurry and don't mind waiting for a quality meal. I didn't mind the wait because I was enjoying the company of my friends and were not pressed for time. Our servers were bilingual (French and English), and the menus were also available in both languages. Taking the wait times into consideration I still highly recommended Le Bistrot Montebello.
