Nerone is simply one of the best restaurants in town.
I've been going to Lignano since I was a baby, so I had the chance to try several different restaurants and I can say without any doubt the Nerone is one of the best, especially in terms of quality/quantity/price.
The staff is very kind and welcoming and Domenico will make sure that everything is working great.
The dishes are amazing. Pizza is great and you have a great selection but my favorite type of food when I go there is fish.
The "linguine allo scoglio" are a true must (and you will need a sorbetto in the end cause the portions are more than generous) if you go there. They are completely mind blowing.
Also the rest of the menu is very complete and delicious (like the "misto gratinato" or the classic "cozze e vongole marinate" - "marinated clams and mussels").
One piece of advice: if you go there during the peak season (July-August, with the apex reached on the week of Aug. 15 for Italian Ferragosto) the place will be full quite packed so you might have to wait a be before getting seated. You will also see the waiters jumping from table to table and in case they forget about something, feel free to ask them and they will bring you the things right away.
