Perhaps it was a good place then, but our experience was pretty bad. The drinks and food didn't taste very good, but to make things worse, we all got sick from eating there (which ruined a few of our big plans in Mexico City, not least the visit to the Frida Kahlo museum). The waiter also behaved a bit strangely. We tried to speak our broken Spanish to him because he didn't appear to speak English, but then about 10 minutes into the interaction, all of a sudden he comes to our table speaking perfectly fluent English and says, "I see that you're struggling to speak Spanish, so let's do this in English". Why not just tell us from the start that he spoke English? To be fair, we didn't ask if he spoke English (it had been a long day), but you'd think it would be natural for him to bring up right at the beginning that there was a much easier way for us to communicate so that we didn't have to "struggle" (as he put it).

Inside/ outside seating. Quiet street unless the recycle screamer is in the hood. Sports silently on multiple flat screens. Nice music at a very reasonable volume. Great for breakfast-lunch-dinner. Super casual, super friendly, very professional staff, and ALWAYS want to make the customer happy. They also make a great dry vodka martini now (see, want make the customer happy) We spent quality time together exploring ingredients (vermouth: yes. triple sec: no, to palpable disappointment from behind the bar) and methodology. The pizza is really good! It's thin crust, light and airy around the edges. Not drowned in sauce- right amount of cheese. Google translate "cook it well" and then ask for that to get browned crispy crust edges (almost) worthy of New Haven. Occasional random DJ who loves classic rock. I love this place. Especially now that vodka martinis (for me, anyway) do not contain juice or triple sec. And always come with aceitunas. Highly recommend.

They serve Parmesan cheese and chili flakes to sprinkle on your pizza. Overall, it was great food and great service minus their dumb policy of not allowing a water bottle in the restaurant.
