We came in with a reservation as a party of six. Each of us ordered a starter and a main. The dishes arrived out of order and very much spread out in time. One of us managed to finish the main and the starter (that's the order they arrived) before others received anything (it took 70 minutes between the arrival of the first dish and the last one). The waiting staff seems to not be able to keep track of the orders. A few times they wandered the room looking for a person to deliver the dish to. Spinach Trattoria style is very tasty and I highly recommend it. Same applies to the pesto-dressed Silesian dumplings, which are surprisingly good example of fusion cuisine. Pizzas are nice too, North Italian style on a thin crust with some interesting toppings. Huge servings! Calamari are fine and quite fresh, which is not necessarily a given in the region. Espresso is rather poor, do yourself a favor and skip it.

She guided us thru the menu and we chose the filet steak and a Cesar Chicken sandwich. Starting with a couple of vodkas the food came out quickly and we just couldn't believe how good it was. Tammy the Tornados Filet steak was seasoned just right and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My chicken sandwich was literally the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Karla was the kind of server you only dream about having. Hats off to whoever owns Portobello. You run a top notch restaurant and hire the best people! Now, to stray off course for a minute. There were a few private parties and we could not visit all the rooms but all had a great atmosphere. Since we didn't know the restaurant, we just ordered some items off the menu, we had some appetizers, pizzas, and drinks. The food was delicious and the pizza crust was really good. This was the best meal we had while traveling through Poland. Also, we didn't speak any Polish but the wait staff was very friendly and able to handle foreigners well. We would have come back every day if distances had allowed. We would highly recommend stopping by and having some pizza here.

It's popular in Pszczyna, Poland, that's for sure. If the pictures don't make your stomach growl, nothing will. All of this, including the beers cost 49 Zloty ($14.70) Can it get any better?
