More than half an hour later (she used the time to serve many other customers and take a break to gossip with her coworkers), I was finally able to get her attention again. She was not the least bit apologetic, claiming she always the only one working (an obvious lie). She then had the gaul to complain that I used 50 euro note to pay a 22 euro bill. God forbid she should have to make change. The wait staff could hardly have it made it clearer that they don't care a whit about their customers. Save them the annoyance and go somewhere else.
