The worst pizza I've ever eaten. There are no et pizzas in the freezer at Mercadona for a third of the price. avoid. Awful and expensive.

I came here alone one night on the recommendation of a friend... see, I had just left the hospital…read moreclinic, was starved and needed something to eat. Since I was alone, I couldn't order all the delicious sounding mezze my greedy eyes and stomach wanted, such as the hummus and baba ganoush- or the spinach or feta pies... there was no one to share with. What I did devour hungrily, and with gusto was the spicy kebab. It was spicy both ways: full of spices and flavor, and it had a kick. It was the perfect size and totally hit the spot. I will definitely return, hopefully with a group so that I can actually try more things. Prices are fair. Service was great- I came at an odd time on a random Wednesday night (game night too) and was the only one in the restaurant. So I was treated quite nicely.

Horrible food poisoning!…read more I ate a chicken kabob and fries at this place, and five mins later started feeling like I had a rock in my stomach. Then a few hours later the massive diarrhea started. Just don't. They clearly are not trained on proper food preparation.

Durum is just 3,5€ and if you want a toasted chicken is just 7€ for the whole chicken. Is you want to upgrade to chicken+ fries + salad for 8€. We ordered the durum with everything on it, and I regret because I don't think corn goes well with the flavors, but beside that the quality is an ok. We didn't expect much, so it was surprising the food was actually not bad given the price and interior. Euro 13 or 14 for paella + soda, Euro 11 or 12 for gyros + soda. The waiter was very nice.
El Meu Poble is a super fun, local Spanish bar in Gracia and perfect place to watch the Barça match…read morewhen you can't pony up the 55 Euros for a ticket to Camp Nou. One can still find a bunch of Spaniards here ready to sing Himno del Barça on a moment's notice. The wine is then normal Spanish plonk. (None of my friends can believe that I have been here for a year and still tolerate it instead of beer. At least one always knows what's in a bottle of Estella.) The food is Indian/Pakistani served by cheeky Desi cooks. I had a falafel, which my friends told me to get in a wrap instead of the normal fare, so I did. It was delicious. I asked for it to be "picante." No such luck, though. It generally takes a while for me to convince people that I not only can eat, but enjoy, spicy food the way it was intended to be. Why the low rating? El Meu Poble committed a cardinal sin. I found a really long hair in my falafel that wasn't mine. I'm sure it was a fluke, but I can't give them more than two stars when I still gag thinking of the food. I'll re-review them later when I get over that trauma.
