Pizzi e Fragole is a cute toy store on a cute street in Trastevere. We were drawn in by the display of Italian toy cars in the window, perfect souvenirs for the children we left at home.
The shop was small and well stocked with all kinds of clothes and toys for little girls and boys. We weren't trying to load up, as we were walking all over Rome, but we did like the idea of buying souvenirs from this tiny neighborhood shop.
There was a great selection of toy vehicles and we picked up a green Vespa and a red Fiat that looked, in my opinion, especially Italian. The guy at the register was super nice, and we were in and out in a few minutes, with gifts for our sons. Not quite as good as taking them to Italy, but a decent consolation prize. read more
