This is a tiny Jean Coutu attached to the large Sud Ouest medical clinic. There is basically one wall of pharmacy stuff and the rest of what happens here is behind the counter. Because this is the pharmacy for the clinic it is super busy with tons of people leaving their doctor's appointments and coming straight here to get prescriptions filled. The staff here are incredibly warm and kind and full of laughter. They are delightfully non-pretentious as well, I saw them switch smoothly from French to English to Spanish, call everyone from the tattooed tank top guy to the tiny Japanese grandmother darling, and dig out books for the tiny kids to play with while their parents waited for their names to be called. There is so much bustle here that we waited a long time before asking if maybe my vitamins had gotten lost in the shuffle, and it turns out they were just sitting next to the cash the whole time. Glad I spoke up. Will check in sooner next time. Still a fan.

I asked him to prove it, but he couldn't even speak properly and behaved very rudely. I wanted to call the management, but to my surprise, they were as rude and aggressive as the guard. They forced me to go to a room despite my lack of trust in them, insisting they would solve the issue there. When they found nothing on the cameras, they made me empty my bag, and upon finding nothing, they rudely escorted me out without even apologizing. I highly advise women go alone there to be cautious and avoid these individuals as their behavior was far from normal.

When on vacation, I love browsing drug stores for deals and we were there right after Christmas so I was hoping for some post-Christmas sales. I went to a lot of locations in Montreal without much success but hit the jackpot at this location in Griffintown. Christmas chocolate was marked down more than at any other location. And they had the best sale on Squishmallows I've ever seen in my life. Huge Squishmallows for $3-5. And they had these huge Pokemon Ball plushies for $15 marked down from $79.99. I so wanted to get them for my nieces, but we were going back to Ottawa by train and these things were huge. Such a shame. I did score some chocolate and salon brand shampoos (in limited edition Christmas scents) for extra cheap. I left a happy camper. The best Pharmaprix ever! Excellent clearance prices.
